What other games are we all playing?

also finally bought NMS, as it seems that it is progressing in the correct direction faster than ED.

Will see how it plays finally.

I don't own NMS anymore (refunded it at the beginning) but I will say this about the game today: their updates for it have been on point and really awesome, and their progress on improving it has been outstanding. At this rate I'll probably be buying it again down the road. Hello Games ticked me off at launch, but their support and development since have impressed me a whole lot.

They are! Tundra tires are very useful on the Super Cub, allowing you fly into backwoods mountain valley little grass strips where most planes can never land.

LOL Yeah they are fun also IRL to fly with :)

Parked up about 3klys outside the bubble...motivation to keep going at an all time low, so needed something violent and sneaky. Thought about the new hitman series, but got distracted by Deus ex mankind divided...in the bargain bucket and reduced to a fiver because it was missing the original jewel case.

Ok so Im poor...as in really skint at this junction in life, so why not...just a fiver hardly wallet breaking...and at a time when I just need something not in space. To recharge the old batteries while frontier works on proving my pessimism wrong.

Absolutely brilliant...not as sharp as the likes of the Hitman, but theres enough there to keep me up till 4 in the morning every night since I picked it up...aw yeah thisll do the job perfectly. Currently trying to complete it once to unlock the ultra hard ironman difficulty...ye die just once and its game over, right back to the start. Fer me, that means going through every inch of the game and using multiple save points to memorize as much as possible. And just like the Hitman missions, there are multiple ways of achiving the result and it plays different every single time as I find new things and secrets I missed the first time.

Hmm shiny ^

Mole you playing RoF on our New Wings servers? We have a BoS server too.

ED Horizon .... and a little Diablo 3 Necromancer ....

Chief

I've only ever played single player campaign mode on RoF...Pat Wilson's Campaign generator and most of the popular realism and historic skin mods. I prefer the story side compared to the competitive with that game. It's a kickback to many years ago and Red Baron II...played on the 'real war' server for a few years where everything was iron man mode...had your pilot killed? Start anew.

BoS I've played online a bit...usually as a gunner, which is fantastic fun.

Playing currently Mario + Rabbids. This game should be trash, why did I buy it? Why do I have a good time with it? It makes no sense, life makes no sense, whats even the point of my existence?

When I'm not playing Elite (which is rare) I'm currently trying to work my way through Metal Gear Solid 5. Truly an amazing game, although quite repetitive. Hmmmm, amazing but repetitive; where have I heard that before?

Robo Recall... Wow!

Looking to get Subnautica next...

Not really touched ED in months... Can't take/accept the lack of progress and squandered development effort for nigh on 18+ months now...

Lone Echo, truly floaty and a way I hope FD look to handle space legs if they ever get around to it.

Prey, but for some reason it's not gelling with me as much as I had hoped, will try and persevere.

Have been considering picking up NMS, but it's now back to full price it seems, so will wait for another sale.

Helblade is also on the radar.

Hey Neil ... you got the Rift in the end then? (last time I noticed I thought you'd missed the sale). Anyway, yeah - Robo Recall is sooo much fun but ...

Lone Echo is another VR title I'm interested in!

This is the one! I played another 2hrs of it on Saturday. No spoilers but boy oh boy ... it was AMAZING. I just love the locomotion system in it aswell. Once you get the hang of it, it just feels so graceful pushing yourself around in zero g.

Yeh, I bought their new general package...

I have really limited space so can you play Lone Echo standing just facing forwards?

Basically in my limited space I can stand up and must keep my feet planted and then have full range of movement infront, to the sides, but limited behind...

after a month long exploration trip (cough R2R ;) ) I'm sat on 600million or so and needed a break....so I dug out Dying Light again (bought the complete enhanced pack with all DLC for 15 quid back in January) Completed the base game and onto The Following DLC pack and loving it (apart from contrived awful boss fights (hate 'em)). Chopping up zombies has never been done so well, top notch graphics too.

If you can play Robo Recall you can definitely play Lone Echo. I play pretty much completely facing forward. You need to be able to move your arms around in front of you (e.g. to assemble things or use wrist mounted scanners and laser cutters) but you can turn (in increments) with thumbstick movements. General movement is with manoeuvering thrusters on your wrists (which thust in the direction you're hand is pointing, a bit like "fly" mode in Google Earth VR) and a boost thruster that propels you in the direction you're facing. You tend to reach out in front to stop yourself bumping into things you're drifting towards and can grab ANY surface and then gently push off in a different direction. The pace is far more relaxed and gentle than Robo Recall so you're unlikely to punch any walls (unlike Robo where I keep punching my ceiling light when catching boss rockets).

Currently playing challenge run with Randomizer mod for Dark Souls - it randomizes all loot, vendors items and pick able stuff in game. Challenge is I have to pick every item I spot and use it as my main weapon, armor, shield and so on till I grab another loot. Makes the game even more fun.

Are you playing the Souls games with mouse and keyboard? I've played Demon Souls, DS1 and DS2 on Playstation, but I want to try DS3 on PC now (sold PS4)..Or shall I try connecting an old DS3 controller to the PC?

i thought i was never going to buy a zombie game (i'm not much for gore and have enough with all the zombies in real life) but got talked into this one by a friend, and it's truly good! i was considering a replay too.

but i also discovered 'dead by daylight' last week (got it from humble bundle for 10€ along with alien isolation and a bunch of others) and it's incredibly fun. such a simple concept, very well done and ... panic and hilarity galore!

I play with M+K but that because I dont have or want a controller. If you have one and already played DS with it - use the controller. Also make sure to install this important fix for your PC DS:
