What other games are we all playing?

Skyrim VR - Love Skyrim and now that most SSE mods, SKSE etc now work with VR it's quite frankly (coming from someone who grew up playing things like Chuckie Egg) 'kin amazing to be this much inside a game world. There are about 20 must have mods and a few ini tweeks which turn if into a really great experience. Standing up playing games also counts as exercise, right? :)

GTA5 now and again - bit sad because hardly any of my GTA friends are online anymore but doing the odd heist with randoms is still fun.

Started new Prey, bored after 1 hour.

Started AC BF, about 2 hours in.

Have also been playing the new free pre alpha Unreal Tournament, that's great fun, it feels very much like original UT. https://www.epicgames.com/unrealtournament/

Looking forward to FO76, JC4 and hoping RDR2 comes to PC.

Not bored of ED, not playing it instead of.

Just bought Space Hulk Tactics - Has space legs ;) but you don't keep them very long Gene Stealers keep getting the better of me, thankfully we don't have to clear out ED space stations of T'goids like this! very long term 40k fan had Space Hulk on the 3DO I last a little longer in this version. [big grin]

Was playing nms...now playing Forza horizons 4 and absolutely lovin it...after that we shall just wait and see. Won’t touch ED again until certain bugs are fixed ^

Insomnia the Ark and Spacebourne. In the case of ED, i´m waiting for the Beta to evaluate if there is something that´s worthwhile go back to play it, but X4 is the priority when released.

Occasionally starting EVE, playing OGRE, Splendor.

Mining, when I come back to Elite. Only part of Q4 that looks like they are even getting close to right.

I'm towards the end of Pathfinder: Kingmaker and alternating that with heavily modded Fallout 4 VR now that I have a brutal video card and am getting hyped for the 76 beta. Power armor, jetpack, lightsaber -- this is my happy place while recovering from LA traffic.

Still happily chugging away with Star Traders : Frontiers. They update the game weekly and are constantly adding more content. The devs are very responsive to the playerbase. There are only 2 people programming it and one other on the team. Not sure what the other one does. Anyway, it's pretty nice for $15.00.

I'm really looking forward to X4 and the other space games that are due to come out "soon". ED still has some hope from what I've seen with the coming improvements, but I've seen the hype before and it has been met with reliable disappointment. Maybe this time will be different? I'm cautiously pessimistic.

Still having fun in Assassin Creed Odyssey and Origins, both are massive open world funboxes that I love, despite many Ubi created issues both are fun games imo, especially if you like presented time periods.

At the moment I do some ventures into Stalker Call of Chernobyl again, a full conversion mod with all maps for Stalker/Call of Pripyat.

Man, I love the zone.

I like that game too, the devs are non-stop updating it, Stellar tactics is another early access game ive been playing.

I got AC Odyssey for my ps4, im enjoying it, not sure about the combat though, it seems that mashing the attack button seems to beat every opponent, even multiple ones. Im hoping it gets harder (Im on hard difficulty).

Try land and return from Eve next. You'll reconsider "pretty hard" then [knocked out]

What makes this so difficult is that the trial and error loop gets **so long**. You have to build a ship, wait for a transfer window, fly it over to EvE, land it, launch it, see what went wrong, build a new one, wait for the next transfer window, fly the next iteration over, etc...

KSP thrives on trial&error but since there's no way to simulate alien gravity/atmosphere without just going there it can get tiresome.

Stalker is the one I always come back to, most recently with a fairly hardcore mod called Dead Air (which is completely standalone so you don't need the base game)

Normally Train Simulator 2018. Sometimes it's just nice to roll along the tracks and listen to the woofer speaker make that low-frequency rumble down the road. Oh, and blowing the whistle is fun, too.

Otherwise, just recently purchased Table Top Simulator. It has jigsaw puzzles that it'll make from any JPG you have on the hard drive. Nice way to waste time.
