What other games do you recommend?

Well, on the same level of pure awesomeness and detail you should definitely try DCS (free) with the A-10C DLC. Drop dead awesome. Now, the learning curve on that thing is STEEP (just an hour to get through the engine start-up sequence, but so worth it). I'm a flight sim nut, and flight simming has just become so much better.
In the same vein (flight sim) and also really, really well done is AeroFly FS 2 (I'm biased here because I live in Switzerland, and it comes with a Swiss scenery that includes my RL home base).

I also find myself playing Space Pirate Trainer a lot (especially with my godson who beats me hands-down because he moves much quicker than I do, and has an instinctive understanding how the siel works). Oh, and when I want to use my Vive I usually have to pry it off my partner's unyielding head. She immerses herself in Tilt Brush. She's an Illustrator by profession and regularly loses herself inside a new drawing she's... constructing.

All are vive titles, so your mileage may vary.

DCS I have, I bought the Nevada test range, UH-1 and A10-C packs so far, and hoping for the F-14 pack soon... The only problem currently is lack of time to actually learn how to start up the A10 or Huey!

I am looking at grabbing Aerofly as well, I spend so much time in commercial airliners, I may as well learn how to fly one (mostly)!

Anyone got suggestions for kids? 5yo girl in my case, but any kids games, really...
Z...

I played some more Dead and Buried yesterday. I played 2v2 shootout. Everyone in the "Saloon" was talking. Hive fives, thumbs up. It's the first time I've actually spoken in a game in more time than I can remember. It felt like the excitement of playing Halo 2 again.

At one point my team mate and I were crouched down behind the bar (meaning crouched in real life). Bullets were flying overhead. We were just laughing and peeking.

I can only imagine what it looked like from the outside. But it was a Ready Player One moment.

I feel shooters are ruined for me. I hope Elite out of cockpit uses Touch. It's the next step.

indeed.. however from a personal point of view it will be a ballache given i am wedged into my combo flight / racing seat when in my ship, so christ knows how i will get out of that and then go to 360 degree VR getting out of my seat.

i actually hope FD implement the ability to have different modes so in ship and srv i am in VR, but get out of my seat and it then goes to 2D on a screen.

seems like the only way to have the 2 together, esp for those who get violently ill with free running 1st person on foot stuff

Thats a great idea. Having the load screen prompt remove headset or waiting for headset durin transitions would be an amazing Quality of life improvement. I don't do well I. The SRV and usually manually switch back to monitor once landed.

If you're looking for a polished and full feeling game, as mentioned above by Mad Mike, Arizona Sunshine is well worth a play. Multiplayer/Co-Op is implemented well, though there’s a few funny moments when the game cannot decide how to hang your body off your hands and head... and your avatar [well, the avatar of the person you're playing with] thrusts his hips forward, it’s more funny than is it a problem, all in all the co-op works well and you imerse yourself without noticing - looking at eachother when you talk, things like that. I'm currently running through the main campaign, 2 player, with a mate -
