Thargoid Ship

Hi

I read it was possible in Fe2 to fly a Thargoid ship. Has anyone ever flown one and if so what kind of specs does it have.

Asp Explorer for flying AND Hawk Airfighter for military, delivery or assasination missions.

2Moriarity. Yep. I had one.

After Thargoid Vaccine mission they give you their ship with amount of alien artefacts in it.
Sadly I can't remember it's specs.

Hi.

I never did the Thargoid mission, so i've never flown one. Its a nice looking ship. If you can fly one in elite 4 I may be tempted to ditch the old Cobra Mk III lol

MIne was always the panther clipper, although if I were going solely on looks then the imp trader would be my prefered ship.

Diversity!

Just like real life as we know it we need ALL tpyes of ships. And have to fly many of them. Just like how many of us older ones here had to drive something on the order of a Yugo at 16 and a Lexus at 45?

Or have many types of ships and again have us in a NEW UBER prototype that does let us search for upgrades and rule the skies.

Definitely, there should be at least an Eagle mark 5 - RS Cosworth editon available.

I hope we're not going to see 20 year old kids flying around in space ships with ridiculous spoilers sticking out the back (and huge exhaust ports) - none of which actually affect the performance in any way......

Viper and Courier still remain my favorite ships. I always try to get the blue and red striped Courier with the pointy bits on the engines, for the look.

heh, that's what comms are for

my personal favourite ship was an Imperial Courier. Just wish that there was actually a smaller version that was quicker and could jump further. Always felt they were the most beautiful ships in the game.

god knows what they were thinking with the Trader.

Better fix your 'little baby' and slap some shield generators on it, or it won't last.

Yeah, I'm an Asp person too, larger ships, including Imperial Courier are just too sluggish.

I like Cobra MkIII, and Harrier (FFE) too.

Finally, Adder has kind of sentimental value for me - not only was Adder my first real multitask vessel, but I killed my first Imperial Explorer in it as well.

Dont Laugh

OK,i fly my wowy awesome Eagle long range fighter.......SO WHAT..lol

I found back my old game and it feels great to fly again but i lost my old save games so i started again with a new game that is why i still use my noob ship

This time i dont go use my time machine (menu to let time pass faster).
Now i go cruize through space and take all time i need and hope that i dont see to much pirats couse im not in the mood for a battle,trade will be my thing and "go where no man have gone before".
Sorry i wrote so much its just that im very happy to fly again.
(i use a amiga emulator"amiga forever"and Frontier Elite II amiga version

)

Personally, I never found large ships to be very appealing. Their turing speed is tragic, if I was attacked by an Imperial Explorer with plasma accelerator I'd prefer to sit in something as small and maneuverable as possible, and 5MW pulse isn't very heavy.

Draq iff that was a reaction on my big ship then i wana say this.
I wana travel through space and need a big invetory for things like a feul scope and all other upgrades that i may need on my way+lots of money to pay my crew.I dont think i get realy far into space with a small ship.
But fighters look cooler,that for sure

Hey, I normally fly Asp with Class 3 drive and a fuel scoop (room for up to 18t of cargo and fuel). I like being self suficient.

It's just that the safest ship is one large enough to pack it with enough shield generators to survive energy bomb or direct missile hit, but small enough to move out of the way of some behemoth equiped with plasma accelerator.

Deffo the ships choice of the assassin - Always had the legs to get to the target with time to spare. That's pretty much all I flew as well.
