Whats that giant one again,panther clipper?(2000cargo/12 crew)
Im sure i will be a easy target when i fly that but its still a nice"wana have"
Steve thats a nice render but what ship is it,looks a bit like tiger trader to me.
It have more detaills then the game.

I'm flying at the moment the Krait Assualt Craft, very quick and have a Class 2 Hyperdrive. I used to have the big ships like the Puma etc but got bored with the flight time to destinations.
I believe the fastest ship in the game is the Falcon or Kestral, Am I right ?

Viper II Baby!!
I am shocked. Did no one fly a Viper 2 with a class 2 military engine? A properly equipped V2 left about 15tonnes for missiles and fuel. A true assassins craft. Not to mention the 27AU you could jump.
For trading - the Imperial ships were my favorites (courier the smaller one?), lots of space and enough room to tool up the weapons.

Agreed - On a side-note, I did notice one guy asking about the flying Thargoid ship in FE2.
He'll be long gone by now but the answer he got was the wrong one as it referred to FFE instead. IIRC the Thargoid ship was only flyable in FE2 with ship editing - but there is a handy little save file with one on the Frontierverse site.

With 78 ships I had the Boa and the IMP Courier respectively 8 times but a Viper over a period of 12 years and the Viper a total of 26 years.

The Asp was my favorite ship until I needed more cargo space and switched to a Courier. Then I did the Thargoid missions and flew around in a Quest, good looking, agile and powerful but since I never encountered another, it felt like cheating. For the same reason I didn't stick with the Thargoid ship and bought an Asp again.
I had an Imperial Courier with a class 6 hyperdrive (yes, it's possible to replace the built-in drive: just you have to wait the failure of the original drive for lack of maintenance - obviously when you're docked).
Now, with GLfrontier my ship is a Courier with the standard class 5 hyperdrive.
I've also good memories of the time spent aboard the Asp, my second favourite ship.

sorry for the archeology but i im capital fan of FE2: asp explorer,cobra mk3,lion transport,anaconda,moray starboat,puma clipper FFE ships i love are. cobra mk3,asp explorer,tiercel freighter,harris fighter,lanner and lanner 2 also.... griffin carrier
i always flied with the mining laser because took 1-3 shots to kill almost evry ship...as for FE2 i was aware that lion transport could shot his own wings with the turret but same goes for griffin carrier,turrets were broken in this case,if you had plasma accelerator in turret and no escape capsule them it was usually funreal
