What to do on a Journey to Beagle Point?

Greetings Commanders,

I have decided to put the bubble behind me for a while and journey to the other side of the galaxy. Now I have my faithful (and very thoroughly engineered) AspX and am already an Elite Explorer and do plan to take advantage or planetary scanning while out and about in this grand galaxy of ours. But I was wondering if there were some suggestions I should pay attention to and some places I should visit and some things I should make a point to go out of my way to see while on my trip. So I put the question forth to all you fellow explorers and space adventurers out there:

What should I make a point of going out of my way to see and do on my adventure?

Thanks so much.
Cheers

When I got to Beagle Point, I installed EDDiscovery. It has that 3D map thing that you can use to track your process and has many POIs marked. That was very useful on my return trip. I planned a few of my waypoints by it and made some detours when I happened to be passing by one of those locations. Makes it easier to get those elusive giant star entries in my codex, that's for sure.

Someone on here recommended me a book, Pandoras Star by Peter Hamilton, I downloaded it a an audible book and didn't go the slightest bit space mad, I missed the frameshift drive halftone vignette of rock star, the late Rory Gallagher waving to me on every jump so much I have just started off again. Rory rory read me a story, Rory whats it like out there, eh?
See not at all space mad.
Pandoras Star though, or any good talking book. Also dropped into cqc before and after every leg, made it a bit of a challenge on both fronts.
Safe journey see you (and the great Rory) out there....

You should try going 'up' or 'down', then you get a good view of the galaxy spread out 'below' or 'above' you.
With current route plotting it's much easier. I think I did it before that and you only had a 1,000LY range. I had some good guidance from others.
Good hunting.
