What type of controller will you be using for Elite Dangerous

I use a T16000, which is a great joystick for its affordable price.

The trigger is primary fire.
The thumb button is secondary.
Side thumb buttons are "next target" and "target ahead"
The small directional button on the thumb is my thrusters up/down/right/left. When I hold a button on the base, the directional thumb button becomes my power management switching.
The other buttons on the base are FA-Off, boost, retract weapons, reverse thrust, and look around.

The small analog slider on the base control my thrust from 0 to 100, and I find it to be incredibly precise and handy!

I complete with some keybord keys : up/down switch subsystems targeting, right/left will change the weapons loadout, spacebar is FSD, V is cargo scoop, C landing gear.

I have a voice attack binding to most functions, so half the time, I don't even use the keyborad and keep my left hand on the thrust slider...

The T16000 is incrediby precise and has just the right resistance so that you will feel the movements you put in it. Gives me a great feeling of feedback about the weight of my ship. Extremely solid too.

One reproach to this joystick : there is 12 buttons on the base of it, but 6 on each side so with one hand on the yoke, only 6 base butons really are accessible. But as I sait, it completes well with the keyboard.

My CH Pedals arrived today to compliment the Fighterstick and Throttle that I already have.
I love the setup, although I still end up using the keyboard and mouse for driving the SRV.
For normal flight, there's enough buttons to never need to touch the keyboard, which is me getting ready for hopefully a VR headset at a later date.

Mouse & Keyboard, with my G25 pedals for throttle.

Mouse controls pitch and yaw, WSAD controls pitch and roll, with QE for lateral movement and RF for vertical movement.

I use a little application I wrote using FreePIE, which lets me increase throttle analoguely (that's now a word, honest) using the accelerator pedal, decrease and reverse it using the clutch, and use the brake to reduce it to zero whichever direction I'm moving.

I used to play with a mix of mainly XBOX-360 pad and keyboard/mouse.....now I'm playing with the X-55 Rhino I was given by a friend for free.

It's working out good to. :D

I've been using keyboard only, no mouse, no track IR, no VR, no voice attack, single screen since alpha and it works fantastically. The day will come when I try some thing else but they game will have to warrant the time and expense of full immersion gadgets but it's not quite there yet. So I'll press with just a cuppa tea and classic keys.

LUXURY I tell ya! my Dad gave me this when I was 7, and I've been using it ever since.

Keyboard, Mouse and xbox 360 gamepad.
More the likely upgrade to stick and throttle and some point.
Has anyone built a enclosed cockpit yet?, like the old Top Gun / After Burner arcade booth?
