Grand Prix II.

Very very first video game I ever played, I think was Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers on NES at my neighbour's.

Geoff Crammonds Grand prix series were amazing, I used to take my Amiga to a friends and there would be four of us playing, each with our own driver, we would take turns driving as the game would count you down and then let another driver jump in and take over with their own driver - fun times.

My first ever experience of a game on a computer was Star Trek on a Kaypro II running C/PM.

I was completely engrossed by it!

Asteroids on a commodore PET. Also most of the games for the Atari 2600 as I worked at Rockwell in Newport Beach, CA where the ICs were made.

On a loaned Spectrum from one of my sister's friends. I was disappointed when we got a C64 the same year at Christmas (because I wanted to play this)... although I thanked my Dad later as having made the right choice. :)

hehe yes, I do get the impression, that the average age on Elite players i very high. Not often that I can feel young at the age of 44 :)

The first ever game I played was duke nukem with my dad, I must of been 6 and had no idea what was going on. But the first game I ever bought on pc was half life 1 back in 2000

HEHE. Nice. Well it depends, on MY first PC it was Mechwarrior 3. If I count computers at all, then the original Flight Simulator.

I played the original Mechwarrior from Dynamics, (I still have it) on my PC and BAO Flight Simulator on my Atari 800XL in the early 80's. BAO was Bruce Artwick Organization and they developed the original FS for Microsoft.
