Question for devs
Every time people swarm to a particular method of credit grinding, devs say it is too fast and Nerf it. Then everyone concerned with making money fast goes to the next best thing. I understand not wanting people to earn credits too quickly. Can the devs define for us, what is the max credits per hour one could make, assuming optimal ship setup, that would NOT be considered excessive? Because let's face it. Some people will always want to find the most efficient way to make credits, and who can blame them when a cutter costs a billion to buy and outfit, nevermind the rebuy cost. Brings me to another point. For end game players with every ship, one thing that will motivate them to keep playing is pvp. That is my plan, assuming rebuys will be feasible. With end game ships, a rebuy can be 50 mill. Let's say in an intense night of pvp a player has to eat 6 such rebuys, approximately 300 million credits. What is a reasonable amount of time to credit grinding to afford that one night? I have used the searches haiden run, and was getting somewhere around 50 mill per run. So it would take roughly one run per rebuy. Seems fair to me, but I'm just one guy. So how many hours should one have to play to afford these rebuys at high levels of end game play? I person feel 50_100 mill per hour is not unreasonable, even to get to a level where such a quick method is possible takes some time. So yeah, if the devs could let us know the max credits per hour that they consider reasonable, that'd be great. Hopefully it's not an arbitrary choice by just one person, and they take end game players interests in big ship pvp into account. And hey, maybe instead of nerfing every best credit making method, maybe make multiple core gameplay stuff more lucrative so players have a reason to do it (cough mining cough)
