What’s your thoughts on another tiger?

The only thing that annoyed me about the AWM was that it essentially is a remastered Nile monitor. It bugs me because they could have just remastered the Nile monitor (even the colours are similar!) and then put something else in the pack.
Good point. Even if they still wanted to do a lizard and keep it from SEA for the theme, the crocodile monitor was right there. Could've given us a more unique monitor, oceanian rep, and a climbing rig for lizards.

If they wanted a unique reskin of the in-game Nile monitor, I've always said the Argentinian black and white tegu would have been a good contender. Though, as I said, I'd have preferred no monitor at all.

If we got some base game model remasters of things like the cats then I’d be fine without any new tiger. The tiger models as they are are less than good, with those ruffs that look like they’ve just got swollen cheeks…
However, if a base game remaster is not going to happen, a third tiger would be great. That way, we have at least one tiger in game with a model that looks realistic.
I’d much rather the first option though, as I use exclusively the Siberian Tiger. If they updated its model, I would be absolutely fine if we didn’t get another species.

Sand cat wouldn't have used a whole new rig. The base skeleton would still be one of the other cats, probably the lynx. It got new animations, but AFAIK that doesn't require a new rig.
I rember seeing a modder who looked I the game files or whatever (idk how it works) say that it dosent re use any old things and was made completely from scratch.

It is not possible to know if an animal is made from scratch or not just by looking at the files... (I'm a modder so I know that statement is completely false) Being a cat, it is most likely they used an existing cat as base and then added new animations.

Unnecessary, I prefer another Lion subespecie/population like the Asiatic Lion from Gir Forest

Sorry I just didn't really know how it worked. I'm sure I remeber some people saying that on one of the speculation threads.

Since I was talking about the 3 extinct subspecies, do you think at least one of the 3 may still be out there? Who knows the Bali may still exist?

On this website, it said that some Bali Tiger specimens used to carry black spots & had fewer stripes. These Tigers below have that. I could be wrong. Just please don't criticise what I've said here.

I dont think bali tiger still alive. Bali is a small island with more than 4 million people in it also the island forests are fragmented and also the island is a beloved tourist destiny and nobody reported tigers or big cats from the area not even sightings appered since 1970's. Caspian maybe since some of their former range are hard to study and wasn't really explored but I highly doubt that they still there. I think from the three extinct subspecies the Javan has the highest chance to survive there were sightings since it disappesered. And javan mountain forests and national parks may still can support a smaller population of tigers, but bc poachers, habitat desctruction, less prey species, growing human population on the island I highly doubt.

🤔 Maybe there are some captive Tigers which still have a few Genes from those, but of course those mean nothing because the pure Subspecies are most likely gone. Regarding Tigers in the Wild, I fully agree with you
