When and what is the tick?

Todays tick was late again well after 20:00 UTC for our space I think we are looking at 20:15 UTC

Over the last couple of days for us the tick has drifted past 20:15 UTC. We are now using 20:30 UTC

Experienced double ticks in Hip 14249. One at around 14:00 and another one past 21:00. Happens to a few systems in the area since a few days.

To-days tick is kinda odd, it started OK but then stalled still not completed

Yeah, we were expecting an Expansion to kick off, but it looks like we gained an extra day of nothing following an Election (3 days instead of 2), and even at this time, some systems aren't showing the same Influence in the System map as they are when in the system. Bizarre :|

We still haven't fully completed but more systems are updating

I recommand strongly a restart of the whole client when yiu were some time in the game and than the tick happens.
All those weird stuff you're describing is known to mee and i was able to always solve them with shutting down the game and restarting it again.

Normally I'd agree with you, but this is very different. Done numerous restarts of game and also PC, still seeing that some systems have a different thing in the FSDJump record and System Map to what they show in the station news. Looking at the BGS Discord it looks fairly widespread.

Will leave it until morning. More RDR2 time, me thinks.

Still stuck. I suspect this will turn into an overnighter to get fixed. Some systems still haven't ticked for us.

through now... we had some system tick at the normal time, some partially tick and do odd things and some not tick at all.... the latter are now ticked, just about to check on the messed up ones

Ugh... this one is majorly annoying, it's gonna cause an unintended war now. First time I looked we were below another faction, but when I looked again we were above, so I did a bunch of missions, now we're below again, so it's gonna cause a war I didn't want.

Confirmed. Tick delayed again and very inconsistent...some systems ticking ~30 minutes later.

Looks like the early shift at FD sorted it our systems had completed ~ 08:10 UTC

Looks like the tick is back in "normal" time frame. I'm using 20:30 UTC but I know you guys & gals are using 20:17

Indeed, seemed normal yesterday. It ticked around 20:15 UTC.
