When the 1.3 patch will be released ?

Oh ok. So that's why everyone is running around trying to sell off there ships and modules before the patch. Really? Or is there another reason?

Thats pretty much it. If you sell modules that you will probably sell in the future you save 10% selling before powerplay than after.
If the change doesn't come then you can just buy the same gear back and only loose the time it took for you to put the gear back on.

It may not be much to smaller ships but for example converting an A rated Combat Python to a D rated Trading Python (for jump range) can cost you up to ~50million.

It also means if you are the type of player that upgrades your powerplant from E to D rating, then up to C then B and finally A as you can afford it, then each time you upgrade you loose 10%. So it's better to have the cash to go from E rating to A rating in one go than do it in steps.

Powerplants thrusters lifesuport sensors Frameshiftdrive Power distibuter and Armour when you upgrade
you dont pay the full amount becouse the old unit is sold and you only pay for the amaunt that is left

Sell it quick if you can. From what I'm hearing, RES sites are gonna be gimped, leaving very little for bounty hunters yet again. So...trading's the only profitable profession, everyone back to trading!

Spent the last week consolidating ships. Parked the maxed out, and high-rebuy ships. Sold off everything that was easy to obtain, but expensive.

Then, I found a second home port, within a single tank of fuel on a Sidewinder. It's high-tech, and I don't have a rep with the local pirates yet. :)

Then, I built cheaper versions, mostly "D" rated, of my best ships. (You can't go all "D", on my ships- no range, too much heat) Voila! A new home port, and a new area to work. If I need to go back to long exploration, they are a cheap Sidewinder trip away. It's almost as good as a clean save. My alpha-config ships are parked in an allied port, and my cheap ships are starting over in a new region. The rebuys are sooooo cheap. 20 x rebuys on all of them, in cash.

All the bookmark ships, 20+ of them, are stripped. As soon as they add map tools for bookmarks of systems, I can cash them out. No change between now and that time on the base loss of 10% per ship for the bookmark fleet. But, no more bookmark ships, from now on. The Sidewinder Clearance sale is just about over.

So, I get a refreshed game experience, and some cash. Not too bad for a week's work.
