Yup, I read the patch notes and we expand from our 'Happiest' system.
Unfortunately for me, I am always as high as a kite on morphine medication so it is possible that I misread that statement, however, if I got it correct then what is our 'Happiest' system?
Easy question, but for idiots like me, it is not so easy.
We have an awful system that we tend to ignore and only jump in when needs really must, and in the column marked 'Happiness', this system is assessed as...... Happy [Happiest]
Noooooooo This system is in the back of beyond and we do not want to expand from it.
But wait.....
In a different system we own, the Happiness status is assessed as 'Elated' Not chuffing well elated just 'Elated' The Elated system that is also in an economy state of Boom and a security state of 'Civil Liberty'
This compares with 'Happiest' man whose Economy State is.... NO economic state. Security State is..... No security state??
Where would we expand from and NO, I do NOT want to expand, I work hard trying to avoid expansion but I can only avoid it if I knew where the hit was coming from. Is it really the 'Happiest' state?
Is it the 'Elated' state, the 'Boom' state or the 'Civil Liberty' state? Why oh why alter something. Why not simply have it as a finite level of influence that could only be countermanded by conflict\war?
Whew, that's another moan off my chest
MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone
John
