Maybe I've been away in Colonia too long?[where is it]
When ALL the mining jobs disappeared after 3.0 dropping a gooley(!), I used the opportunity to come back to the bubble and do some engineering and collect some modules for shipping back there. I spent 3/4Bil on ships and modules and several millions to get HALF the engineers needed to upgrade and modify those modules. NOW I find the small original quantities of materials are WOEFULLY inadequate for the number of rolls needed using the new system of engineering. I also find the resulting and necessary experimental effects are COMPLETELY unavailable to anyone hoping to use the "blue-prints" back in "Bubble No.2"! (I'd like the devs to explain THAT sweet cherry of a screw-up!)[mad] ....Surely when you finalise the "blue-print", the effects should INCLUDE the experimental ones?
In returning back to the system where I slaved over a mining laser, for nearly 12mths, to acquire a stake to get me to Colonia, I find NOT ONE MINING CONTRACT! I checked the systems around that system! ....Nothing! I retraced my steps back to the Industrial and High-Tech systems I'd passed through between engineers, and again, NOTHING!
"What the frell" is going on? I know mining finally made it back on the Contracts Board after about 3 weeks away, being "fixed", but has something happened AGAIN? This mining is a therapy for me. It is pleasantly repetitive and safe from the general melee that is PvP! Mining is the only way to collect those level 1 materials like sulfur, carbon, iron, phosphorous, etc., that makes all synthesis processes possible. Unfortunately the rewards from mining JUST those materials is negligable. Without the CONTRACTS, the HEART of the "mining industry" has been torn out!
Like I said in the opening line, maybe I've been away too long, but surely my little "hot-spot" hasn't been wiped out completely? (Lakluit) I have since found a Pristine Industrial system close by, but the same situation exists. NO MINING CONTRACTS! .....THIS IS WIERD![where is it] (that's the polite version!)
