I've said it before, and I'll say it again - to those complaining about lack of content (LEP, or otherwise), content does not spring fully formed from the developers desks overnight, it can take a year/18 months before we see updates and new features. That's just based on past examples, eg Adam Woods and Ed Lewis discussing 2.3 (I think it was) and how long some features had been worked on. We know a large update is coming in Q4, and we know DLC/premium content is upcoming too.
In other words, the developers that some claim don't exist have clearly been *very* busy. Let them get on with it, and reveal it when they are ready. Seems like it won't be long now.

I'm not a LEP owner. However I will pay for any content released for as long as Elite is live. I also buy A LOT of cosmetics because I haven't had the chance to buy a LEP so I feel I should pay and support in anyway I can.
I don't mind waiting. Why? Because the longer they stretch this amazing game out the better. We ALL get something out of it otherwise why are we here? I maybe a "fan boy", well I must be a fan to even be on the OFFICIAL forums. I wouldn't sign up to a games forums I didn't like because I wouldn't be playing it and what's the point in that. Yes elite has some issues and some people think THEY should be heard. This game is for us ALL, regardless of LEP or kickstarter backers (although we owe thanks to the backers for getting this game started) or completely new players.
I'd rather them keep development at a slow pace so we can enjoy his game for as long as we can. o7

I'd broadly agree with all of that, it is taking as long as it takes.

And we're not going to get an answer until FDev are ready. As always. We where told there will be some paid content. Also next season/expansion will be paid for content, probably. We all know the meaning of patience, we play Elite

It's been 2.5 years.
2.5 is more than 1.
2.5 is more than 1.5.
They've had the time.
They say they've been working on 'something'.
Here we are, 2.5 years later, with no new premium content.
All I'm asking for, is something definite. I.E. "You will get X and Y features, between the dates of A and B."
Maybe you could edit the OP to make this clear.

Can you please point out where DB said 'space legs' would be coming in 2018? Can you also point out where DB said 'space legs' would be premium content or any reference to having to pay to use the 'space legs' features?

I can't see elite feet if it ever happens being anything other than a paid expansion.
Same here, but with one extra thing that we can turn off or hide that CQC Rank icon as that will be helpless 0% for infinity...…….
It is hot enough here in the UK with the weather we are having.
As for the LEP, as an LEP owner I see no cause for complaint yet.
I am eagerly awaiting atmospheric planet access flight/landing and related activities.

Good thing I made a statement and not a question. FD have not communicated about LEP or 'premium' 'content' in 2.5 years. You said 'space legs' was 'premium' 'content'. Now you have to prove your statement.

I merely offered up a couple of places where David mentioned working on something that most assume would be premium content. In fact I was given those two links by someone else when I suggested that we hadn't heard anything about space legs or other such 'premium' content at all for a long time. (I was proven incorrect - I hadn't known about those Reddit comments).
I do not speak for David and I don't know what he or FD have in store. I'm not about to get drawn into this discussion as an actual participant, though. I need to moderate after all.
I really think all the discussion could be settled down by just answering Riverside's question.
It won't be answered for a while and so far we have answer that premium content is coming this year.
