Horizons Where is your unofficial "home" system?

Wolf 906 - Herbert Dock.
it got a hitech station, and if it doesnt have what i need i go to Fusang or Xihe.

lots of hazres around, wolf 896, wolf 918, jen elabog etc.

I know im not the only one there, allready met some nice cmdrs.

Gurabru and Diaguandri for me, many ringed bodies with Rez and stations with good outfitting respectively.

HazRez around an earth-like world is very cool.

Rhea, headquarters of Winter's federation.
It's not the best system in the galaxy, I know, but it kinda feels like home.

That said, I wander a lot so I could change my homesystem any time

Cosi - Arrhenius Hub, I've got all my ships there and I actually think about it as "home" but I got friendly with Hornby Terminal in Witchhaul so that's my secondary home kind of. :)

I'm literally scattered all over the place. Until we get some way of ship transportation service or passenger transport ferrying me to whichever ship I want to fly, it's too much of a hassle to assemble my fleet in one place using taxi ships. I travel to whichever ship I currently need, trying to collect my DBE or Asp first, as those have the best jump range.

No specific 'home' per-se, as I prefer a life on the road ...

Currently parked in at L 190-21 on Gurragchaa Orbital. If someone asks, I say I'm from there. Because when I say it, I like to spray it :) But more seriously Gurragchaa was the first Mongolian in space. So I guess my own nomadic hunter-gatherer lifestyle fits quite well given the station name.

Also please do not ship live animals without proper stasis containers and preparation...I failed to compensate for an increase in atmospheric methane... then stayed a tad too long fuel scooping. Sparking/heated electronics led to an internal atmospheric explosion and a blown out canopy and cargo hatch. Imagine explaining to my contractor why his animals were in orbit around the local star... locals were scooping up free cooked beef for weeks. Anytime I land at the local starport, my requests for docking are answered with "Moo!" followed by chuckles of laughter..

Perez Ring in LHS 2637. Come and visit sometime. My fleet lives there (except for my Asp Explorer which is at Irkutsk in Alioth and a freebie Viper Mk IV which is sitting at Barnard's Star, which I haven't bothered to pick up yet).)

I just may do that! :)

You got a laugh out of me.

Love the responses! So much to see and do in the galaxy! Keep them coming!

My ships are currently all berthed at Feynman Terminal, Bhritzameno. High-tech with most components available.

I'll be moving them all to Founders World in the next few weeks (currently 60% Deadly).

A little place on the edge of the bubble which shall remain unnamed so it stays little and quiet. ;)

Pretty much THIS lol
as in, eh? huh? hmm? wha? .. Who wants to know???

Wouldn't mind having one or two brothers in arms, if anyone looking for a 50/50 splt. So, with local activities on my own terms being things like system enforcement (Imperial Eagle), mining in population 0 systems (Asp Explorer), and deep space recon, survey, SRV hill climbing and camping trips (T7) ... access my secure PO Box (with a PM) by all means.

For me it's HIP 61061...

Also located at the edge of inhabited space, it's far away from all the trouble I frequently read in GALnet - yet has everything I need.

Although I enjoy the solitude, currently trying to make that "unofficial" home base more "official" (see Signature).
Wouldn't mind a little friendly company but I don't expect the remote place to ever become a busy spot. Such remote locations aren't for everybody.

Obviously, any other already registered Player Group could "claim" it at the next Cycle (already lost one Home System to a Player Group), so the future of this little Project remains unknown.
Still, no harm in trying and worth a shot after all the effort that already went in.

Founder's world for me. Can't beat that one stop shop. And all at low low prices!

Same for me, it is the best place to park all my ships... well, except for the ridiculous amount of sidewinders scattered all over the galaxy as bookmarks :)

It would be Obsidian Orbital - same ship moving issues, need to be able to get a shipyard out there then I can utilise a stripped out a class siddy taxi flying gas can to move my ships.

Why OO actually exploring some of my favourite winter night sky objects, out walking the dog I often look up and plot where I have traversed.
