Which big squid should we have in the game once we get aquariums in Planet Zoo?

I would argue for a zoo game it would, that’s why we got the bengal tiger before we would get a fishing cat, or why we got the grey wolf before the bush dog. If we are talking about an animal I want in a zoo game, I would generally prefer the more commonly represented animal. Which is why I wanted the two toed sloth before the three toed was introduced.
I didn't know you wanted the 2 - toed sloth so badly.
Why not just get both big squids? Since the Colossal Squid lives in Antarctic waters & lives more than 1000 m deep, why not just use the water temperature regulator & a water pressure regulator like I said before?
I mean sure if it’s a discussion about getting more animals than I wouldn’t mind both. Personally I would like Planet Zoo to stay realistic but in the end that’s up to Frontier not me. Also for a water temperature and pressure regulator I don’t know how large they would have to be to house a massive animal like a colossal or giant squid. But man that would be cool
We already have the temperature regulator. All we need is the pressure regulator.
I really don’t think you know how difficult that would be to achieve… you’re effectively trying to do the reverse of what the submarine that imploded on its way to the Titanic failed to do… IRL (assuming you want some measure of reality)the tank would:
Be vary small (exhibit-sized) at best.
Have a window about the size of a dinner plate at best.
Be very, very, very expensive
Be impossible to open to feed the animals, clean etc.
Be potentially explosive
Fortunately, the pressure isn’t actually the issue - it’s a rapid change that hurts… the trick would be bringing them up slowly (if you manage to catch one in the first place which, given that they’ve only even been seen alive a couple of times is a big if). As others have noted, though, squid, especially deep sea / open water ones do exceptionally badly in captivity as they are not adapted to small spaces with hard surfaces.

Because squid is downright tasty
Speaking of that, I think a Colossal Squid actually caused the implosion. Since we think that adults tend to live in deeper waters, it could be possible that one could have been down there.

There not one that Ive eaten yet that I havent enjoyed, squid ink pasta is tasty as well.
Well, they both have their unique elements... probably giant, since that's the one we've known the longest. But as others have said, even if we get aquarium DLC, a giant or colossal squid is incredibly unlikely.

Pressure Chambers for Divers exist. Maybe it would be possible to build one that works with Water inside. Don't think though it would be likely for something like that to be built and used for a Architeuthis or a similar sized Animal, but it would definitely be nice for smaller Animals.I think someone mentioned somewhere once though that some Park managed to aquire Architeuthis Fry once somehow (maybe there were Eggs inside a stranded female?) They didn't reach Maturity though. I'll link it if I can find it

I think they would've noticed that. At least I assume it was also looked at from the Surface with Cameras or something similar. Probably just bad planning / insufficient Testing.
Also they were at least once observed in the Wild through a specialized Diving Vessel and the Individual that was observed didn't seem to care much about the foreign Object
Probably not…. Many deep water squid, including giant squid (not sure of colossal) flood their tissues with ammonia (I think it’s for buoyancy), so they probably taste quite strongly of urine.
