Which bugs/issues are you still experiencing?

Just high CPU, lag frame rate I don't think frontier has even address this or mentioned anything about it themselves

within 5 mins of starting to play last night I had 11 broken facilities/barriers, 4 animals die and 2 boxed animals. This continued and I'm guessing the improvements to animals not eating and drinking fix didn't work ... however I saw raised Peacock tail displays several times throughout the evening

For some reason I had this Problem with Enclosures that had no Problems before the Update. Hiring a additional Zookeeper helped to solve it for the Animals (except the Japanese Macaques that I have only because of the actual Community Challenge)

I put new feeders and water feeders in and that seemed to work but im thinking i should have deleted the old ones

Buttons in franchise are hellish. Don't work 90% of the time, and when they do, it takes like a thousand clicks before it responds. Why this is still an issue is beyond me 😕

I get the flying camera bug occasionally. I'll have to try the suggestion of disabling the overlay later. Kinda sucks cause I do like to use the overlay to quickly get blueprints from the workshop while I'm playing.

Another bug I have been having is the Zoopedia not opening when I click on the icon in an animals info panel. But when I open it manually from the left side-bar it opens to the page of that animal. So my guess is that it is opening and closing so fast that I can't see it.

I have also been having some crashes. No specific thing seems to be causing it that I can tell. One it happened when I hit X to do advance move on a lamp post, another time it crashed when I unboxed an animal. So now I have been saving so frequently its almost paranoia. Any time I make any significant changes to the Zoo, save. I wish there was a quick save hotkey lol.

I've got hippos escaping today after1.1.1, adults this time. Ones that are able to walk through mountains.

Animals are still escaping, but less frequently. I just watched a tiger cub walk through a brick wall.

The 1.1.1 patch notes do indicate that they are aware that some escaping glitches are still present and that they only fixed some of them; meanwhile I'm up to 9 hours or so of play since the update and still no false escapes (I did have 5 legitimate ones as a whole posse of chimpanzee juveniles discovered the jumpable escape route created when I moved a climbing frame a tiny bit in their habitat faster than I could say "boo"). I was having a false escape or 2 pretty much every 10 to 20 minutes prior to that in both my lemur and chimp habitats.

From the 1.1.1 patch notes, indicating some escape issues still exist:
Mitigated a number of issues with animals being flagged as escaped when inside a habitat. Some issues still exist and we continue to investigate.

The male sliver back gorilla does not do an animation of him pounding his chest as he did at the very end of the gorilla reveal video that planet zoo posted. Maybe its a missing animation. Also Elephants are not able to cool themselves off with water as shown in the first game trailer. I posted the issue on the bug tracker here https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/11029

Had two random crashes yesterday after the patch dropped (haven't had a single crash since the first week before that). Oh and one of my red pandas dropped below the habitat and became marked as escaped (first I coudn't even find it, but then I realised it was like 10m below ground :O Have they learned how to dig? :O

  • game crashing when try to creating a blueprint
  • animals keeping boxed for no reason
  • guests not visiting their favorite animals for no reason
  • inbreeding alert is unreliable and is also shown sometimes
  • lags after 2-3 hours of play time
  • transport rides not being used at all (applies for many players)
  • vandalized items directly under security cams
  • transport rides causing heavy lags
  • transport rides are nearly impossible to be run profitable
  • buttons of the franchise market not working properly
  • franchise animal market windows loading very slow and lagging
  • deluxe DLC animals still not shown at all or only via fiddling with the filters
  • advanced research still doing nothing
  • animals still getting hungry or thirsty when the total number of animals exceeds a certain number (total still under zoopedia figure)
  • new zoos with (close to) empty maps with heavy CPU and GPU load, more than my 9k visitor zoo
  • Franchise statistics regarding how many animals of a species you have released/ bred etc. do not work
  • ostrichs eating guest food through a 2m high barrier
  • staff facility running costs are still shown to be "0" in the specific tab
  • instant fights for some species after offspring has been grown with an injury for sure, e.g. tigers and tapirs

I have this weird 'Unhappy with visit' refund drain going on. The guests I look at all 'wish they could've stayed longer to visit X animal' and I have no idea how to resolve that. I know how to deal with 'I can't queue' or 'X facility seems really busy' or 'there's lots of vandalized items' (thanks to the heat map), but how in the world do I deal with guests that would've liked to stay longer? Force them stay? That's my main issue right now, I'm bleeding money (and we're talking around 200K a year!).

So I don’t experience a ton of issues but I have some for sure. Still love and play the game daily just would love to see this few issues addressed. The worst one is the textures and the FPS one but they aren’t awful. My drops aren’t unmanageable just annoying.

-transport rides not being used at all.
-staff cueing for research when they are all in different work zones with different research centers
-boxed up animals
-construction textures and some foliage not loading when I initially place them and being blurry but when I zoom out they are completely loaded with minimal issues after.
-franchise mode buttons not always quickly responding has become a recent issue of mine
-FPS drops off and on that get worse the longer I play.

Visitors leave when they are getting close to being in the zoo for 60 minutes (shown on their info card if you select them), regardless of whether they got to see everything or not and you can't force them to stay longer. If your zoo has long lines at shops or is very large, you're going to see a lot of visitors leave who are unhappy about not getting to see every animal that they wanted to.
This doesn't guarantee they will request a refund though. I see it frequently with larger groups in my current franchise zoo, I assume because the groups with more people in them are more likely to have wasted all their time in lines of shops if each member wants to visit a different one, but most years my refunds are at 0 despite this, so keeping happiness up still helps (my happiness in this zoo is averaging 93%).

My latest issue is the education items too far or incorrectly placed. I think it could be a little more lenient. I designed a viewing room with an unobstructed view of my crocodiles, with the boards directly behind so guests can read, then view. Unfortunately, it's being labeled as too far.

@Lizziguin, Check your currency filters to make sure you don't have the threshold for CP turned way down (or completely off).

Sometimes for me even just looking at the filters it seems like they should be fine and I have to change them to get things filtering the way I want, so even if they "look" right, try that.
Thanks I'll try that today when I get on to play. I'll post back if it doesn't work.

I feel like the game def has a memory leak/problem that sneaks up the longer you leave it running. If I leave it paused for some hours, then come back everything becomes totally unresponsive and eventually finally crashes. Even when I just play for a few hours it starts to get noticeably choppy.
That's my feeling too 👍 and I like to add the suddenly crushed barriers... not all habitats but many even brik ones. Like the game suddenly feels like it has to annoy you somehow.

Well there also seems to be a collision problem with the terrain, seeing how animals get into boxes, fall through the floor and such. At one point my Ostriches kept escaping a habitat until i deleted a trashcan that i had placed there a few minutes ago. And seeing how animals 'glitched' onto roofs at one point i think they've tried to cut to many corners to keep the game perfomant.
