Which classic Elite ship would you most like to see reincarned in Dangerous?

This. The Adder was a massive let down in terms of being faithful to the original!

I agree on that point. I really really like its current incarnation, it reminds me of something from the Fallout universe with that future-50s look; but it's hardly faithful to the Eliteverse original.

Anyway, *of the pollees* the Krait is the clear winner.

They weren't in the game (neither were space hermits...though I did once find an asteroid that was tagged as a targettable blip on the radar. But that may have just been a bug.).

I'm sure one of them was, maybe in Galaxy 3 or something like that. My memory is vague or I am thinking of a different game.

I saw a generation ship once when I used to play it on the Beeb. It was huge. I remember flying around it for a while, there was a port on the side, the same as a space stations, then I got bored and decided to shoot at it. Needless to say I got taken out by some Vipers smartish.

Oh yeah, I'd really like to see how the Krait would look nowadays as well.


I also think it'll be kinda fun seeing some desperate pirates knocking about in some beaten up looking Geckos, attempting to gang up on traders and whatnot.

The only ship I want to see in the game soon is a Thargoid. It doesn't feel like Elite yet without the Thargoids.

I've just been watching a documentary on snakes on youtube so if they aren't ready to bring the Thargoids back just yet then I would like to see the return of the Mamba. That was a nice ship.

Mamba (originally designed for racing - as fast as a viper but even more agile, but limited arms and very limited cargo)

I'd have to vote for Mamba. Make it a light fighter built for speed and not much else.
