If there's something fat looming, and I'm in something medium but still sneaky, I'm trying to jam closer to the green. Other than that, I always blast through the middle.

I am British and I put the green light on the left and go in on that side, and everyone else is upside down

Going into a Station my butler DC, does the work for me.
Going out......well it depends how well I get control of my Ship when nearing the slot. Even after 5 1/2 years playing, I still snake most Ships out of the mailslot - frankly I don't even notice which side I'm on......green or red? who cares!! just watch that f'king Station wall!!
