Who care about player minor faction?

Well, it was a "provocation", 39 is very good!!!!
Me and my Mates came from a Faction of 100+ players, we decided to leave it and found a new Faction after 3 years. Now we are 50+

That's good going! Of our 39 about half are active at one time or another. We have members (Priests) in Colonia, with other PMF (we allow members to join other player groups etc), some on independent missions, some who play occasionally and some who seem to be always online.

What Elite Dangerous needs is in-game player group features (guilds) so players can manage it all in-game rather than have to request Frontier to manually add groups.

The fact is: you love bgs... we love bgs!!!!!!! We deserve a better treatment.

You do. But as Brett says, now you should be in the August intake. It doesn't sole the problems of the past, but the future looks good.
Thank you Limoncello!!!!! Your name sounds like Italian...... are you? :) I've don't understood one thing: In August we'll have our Faction in game...... or simply in list for future unnknown intake?

Sadly, I'm not joking. When I first saw it, I felt like rage quitting.

The Fireflies is an independent democracy that now has Gilya as their home system. Last I checked they were just about to take the outpost and they were already ahead of Gilya Law, but close enough to have the option of going either up or down to challenge for the system. The rate they are going, it won't take them much more than a week to take Gilya. So next weekend, all our effort last year will have been in vain.

The player group has been talked to. They didn't know they were being placed in a rare goods system where they would make it illegal. They are open to negotiation, as they don't want to make enemies by blocking the rare good. But the BGS may not give them much of a choice.

edit - I've made a suggestions thread Don't inject player groups in rare goods systems, one of the Fireflies has responded.

We've added some changes to a script that does the final import. It should resolve the issue that's been described.

So about the minimum amount of players to a minor faction. After the July batch is finished being reprocessed, we will no longer accept player group minor factions having 9 or less users. All future applying minor factions will be required to have 10 or more commanders to the group.

Thank you. Duly +1'd.

I'll *never* get my Poodle Station trucking stop. :(

All I want is repairs, fuel, and a UC Redbox data machine.

Or, get to be a wacky aerospace/electrical engineer/pilot outside of Real Life.

Thanks for the concise response, Bret (no sarcasm). Explorers would appreciate 1 K+ truck stops, and I would willingly cash out all my main account assets for a shoddy planetary facility on a rockball. No BGS ego wars, just someplace explorers, and the Fuel Rats could use.

Although, having a shipyard that only produces Sidewinders, Adders, and Cobra 4's would be amusing. :) I could be the FedEx/UPS drop box way out to the galactic "east" and "north" (trailing, and coreward). Away from the Pleiades, and Colonia. I have no axes to grind.

Ah, well. It's a dog's lament.

Personally, I'd choose a name that is not contentious... but if I just had to have a name that a business was using, then I would ask it for permission in an email. Seriously, Tesla Corporation may not be fussed at all (and even complimented) given there is no brand or commercial downside.

P.S. what about Italian Spacemen in Space (ISIS) [big grin]
