Why are n00bz so rude... "?"

And they don't do it to help us, they do it and start shooting.
So when a new player gets pulled over, they are going to assume they are about to be shot at just like when the NPCs do it.

Of course an experienced player knows this, so pretending they are pulling people over to help them is nonsense.
They can send a message in SC and if ignored just let the new player get on about their business.
Pulling new players over is just for the sole purpose of trolling them and upsetting them.

lol.

The honest way to help new players is to send them a message asking if they want help and send instructions on how to respond with your offer.

We both know the only reason you pull over new players (without prior communication) is to watch them panic as they try to run away.
As they are going to assume you're out to blow them up. You're just trolling newbies for your own enjoyment.

Not sure why you're pretending otherwise, it's quite clear in your posts.
And it is valid game play, so you're not doing anything wrong either.
If they don't want random interactions, they should play in a PG or Solo - it's why they are there.

which is exactly what was done... you really should read the full thread before replying half baked
not EVERYONE is as TROLLish as your cynical view

That's not a great analogy. The game has tools designed for player communication and interaction. Playing your own way and actually using them for their intended purposes doesn't make you a weirdo analogous to screaming at strangers in traffic.
I'm pretty certain that interdicting players isn't the way to say "Hi" in a game where that means only one thing...

Ah ya I see where I went wrong. It sounded as though I were suggesting NPCs help players. All I meant was that talking to people and interacting with them is fine to do. Help, pirate, casual chat, or merciless destruction really is beside the point. The point is the insufferable snobbery directed at folks who use game features correctly but are still ridiculed for it. The morality police force is a bit oppressive on this forum.

I've just started over again, still play on PC, but have 'maxed out', so bought the game on x-box(I'd forgotten how orange everything is). First thing I did, was get away from starter system , in solo, for a few systems, to evade noob killers

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
I remember a long time ago some commander on the forum talked about trying 'reverse piracy' where players were pulled out of cruise and offered some gold or something.
It didn't go so well. :D

Noobs are rude full stop.

I got asked for advice last I entered the noob systems and got a load of for my answers.

Noobs have no clue lol.

If I ran your car off the highway in order to offer you help with whatever you need for the day, whether or not you actually needing anything, you'd be okay with that?

This is clearly a troll post judging by the responses, so I would recommend moving on to the next post - inevitably about PowerPlay or why noone plays in Open any more...

I got lonely... so I flew to the n00b systems...I thought helping out n00bz woud be FUN!!! But, quickly I am educated to the unexplainable fact that n00bz don't want help. THEY WONT EVEN ACKNOWLAGE MY EXISTANCE!!! I pull them over, gain a fine for my courtesy ( FDEV), and they completely ignore me. I don't understand this behavior. Will someone explain it to me PLEASE!!!???!!!

broadcast that you're there to protect them over and over and over and

don't pull them over

Wasn't there a pink Anaconda that was a game show?

Hang on.... Who was the rude one again in this exchange?
Interdiction is an act of aggression. If you want to help noobs send messages to people in your instance to see if they want help..... But it is not rude to not reply. As someone else already said playing in vr pretty much rules out the Comms for me but regardless... Personally I just don't want to interact with folk that I do not know generally other than perhaps a quick hi!.
Frankly your attitude is the strange one in this imo.
But if you interdiction me you are the bad guy. IF I think I can take you I will open fire if not I will run, and if you try to pirate me I may drop cargo.... But after interdiction the last thing I am thinking is you want to help me....

Well,I hope you learned your lesson.nOObz are the most dangerous class of player in the game.

Hmmm I think OP is generally speaking doing things the right way but for ONE tiny tiny thing...

Maybe try initiating Comms before interdicting them?
Maybe then you won't need to interdict.
