I'm pretty sure it was always like that for Exhibit Animals because at the Start of the Beta I've only had Exhibit Animals due to a Problem where I wasn't able to access the normal Animal Market and I don't remember the Offspring Numbers being higherThere were complaints during BETA about offspring (habitat reptiles). But I think it's a choice to keep the game more appealing: The choice between realism and what works for most people in a videogame.
I think some of the habitat reptiles do actually need to be balanced. It is true that you can't expect them to have a hundred young "for realism", but if they have less offspring per mating event than an animal that has a much lower litter size irl, that would require balancing for consistency purposes.There were complaints during BETA about offspring (habitat reptiles).
