Why FDev avoids adding anarchies to CG efforts?

Greetings Commanders. o7

I don't know, do I write in right place, but I want to open discussion about one, important thing.

Why FDev successive avoids adding anarchy factions to CG efforts, treatening us as necessary evil? This is second time from one and half years ago (when anarchists was had a chance to fight with them), when anarchy faction don't gets any CG for anarchists and probably wasting more interesting conclusion than during fighting with normal faction. Can I get answer, why? Do we're worse than any other faction? And finally, do they knows, that sometimes, winning with anarchy side can leads to more interesting history? And we're still waiting for new CG for anarchists, where anarchies can get his voice.

Current CG shows me up, that FDev avoids (again) adding anarchies to CG effort, losing an opportunity to tell alternative history. More courage, FDev. We wants, that the galaxy may be constant changes, and PP characters also needs to be constant change. This also includes anarchies.

What do you think about it?

@Rubbernuke I wanted to create this thread earlier, when avoiding anarchy in CG happened first time (their megaship was been presented, but not be able to land while CG effort for anarchy wasn't been here), but I waited for next CG, where anarchy faction would presents. And now this happened.

Its ironic because the Powerplay group don't care for it either, considering its a bad gov type.
Not bad, "neutral". And the new CG is definitely broken, as there doesn't seem to be a "Fight for Trask Death Corsairs" option yet.

It's intended. They don't want to tip the powerplay balance. Delaine is, for all intent and purposes, protected by plot armor and can't die or suffer a major defeat.

Imagine having to update the powerplay, and replace one of the "figure". I mean, we can't have that.

EDIT : as I posted, they said on Twich the CG is only for Delaine. You can fight for trask in the CZ. Which is kinda useless, but see, choices !

If Trask would beat Delaine in that CG, they could come to a ceasefire and subsequential mutual agreement which would see Delaine remain in power and anarchies added as favourable governments.

Except they can't win that CG.

That and only having one CG helps with not having too much complexity in prewritten future narrative.

There is one thing which is consistent with CG : if it involve a PP character, we don't have a choice. They don't even take a small risk by rigging it hard. They just don't do it.

Mahon election : decided by Fdev, the cg was about some minor law changes
The Emperor kidnapping : all decided by Fdev.
And now, Delaine vs rebels : all decided by Fdev.

That's how they do. Changing PP figures is probably not planned and a ridiculous amount of work they are not prepared to do whatsoever. Imagine all the issue that would arise from allegiance (system and player made faction), their control and all. Not to mention the massive drama because "CMDR Bob supported the blue haired princess for the Lore totally, so replacing her by a fat middle aged dude made him seriously mad. For lore reason.".

We're last time saw choices during war in one of NMLA CG. From now, FDev avoids adding second side for conflicts. And this includes anarchies. They wants to forcing us not only now, but also in future, to fights with factions, which especially we can hate them. And remember, PP characters aren't immortal and sooner or later, they must pass away, giving chances for the new characters.

If FDEVs would have assigned a favourable gov type to KUMO COUNCIL, it's very likely we could have "adopted" the faction... given they assigned to that such "FEUDAL" gov type, it is not only useless for us... IT DAMAGES US (in our systems).

Problem is, this isn't even about anarchies. Trask and his lot aren't anarchists. They just got slapped with the label because they're the bad guys for this event. Same thing happened in Summerland and a few other cases, and they had even less reason to be called "anarchists".

It's just a filler CG that may or may not lead to something else if these mercenaries are identified.
