Why is console still being ignored

Don't get me wrong they went above and beyond in the transfer portal and as I have said it is ( not sure if it's still a thing ?) a smooth and easy transition . But it wasn't something they themselves initially thought of ?
Fdev were initially happy just to say "our bad" we made a mistake and can't get it to work on last gen and leave it at that, but whether it was due to online pressure ? Or legal issues? or they had just forgotten to mention it when the announcement was made? Eventually they came up with the full profile ( apart from FC) transfer ( which even I did it on the very first week ). But for me it was an afterthought or maybe a little firefighting as their rep took a big hit around that time?

They can't really win with some people.

We are exploring options for transfers but at present have nothing to announce.

Thanks for the clarification, Fdev hadn't looked at transfers before the question was asked and we're only just exploring options is a well "we hadn't thought of that" after the questions were asked.

Rather than we are stopping console development but we are looking for options for transfers to PC for those wishing to do so? But again my opinion hasn't changed since.

Admittedly the option we got eventually (6 months?) was top notch.

I agree that the console copy was really well done and very slick, I also regard it as the underline conclusion of support for us consolers. I split my time with odyssey on mobile with the native legacy Xbox which I prefer for it's ease of use. I never thought I'd split my time so equally between them but hey ho. If Xbox and GFN ever developed a native Xbox app then I'd be over the moon. (I've seen rumours that might be in the offing but annoyingly I can't find a link to it).
