Why snakes? Do you have a problem with designers?

Well it was in the Amiga version of Elite, I didn't play the BBC version.

The Amiga version was still the original...... Just a slightly later port of it imo
It wasn't the same though... none of the Firebird ones were.
Perhaps not. Aside from the Archimedes version however (which hardly anyone played) the Amiga one was the best however imo (biased tho it may be)
I played Elite on my C64, not on my Amiga. Of course, as soon as I learned of the Amiga I dropped my '64 faster than you could say 'LOAD "*",8'.

I did! It was fun seeing police ships flying in formation (amongst other improvements)
I was most upset in fact that DE2 and FFE were never released on the Archemedes, even though it was an order of magnitude more powerful than any platform they were released on.
More recently I've seen FFE on the Amiga (My partner's still works), and I was very unimpressed. It looked decades older than Arch Elite.
I think it might be time to go-anna. But I'm not going to till gum leaves.
Indeed! It wasn't until Oolite (with a good selection of expansions packs) that I played something which surpassed Archimedes ELITE.
And since we're talking snakes: they have a cool Boa & Kait in Oolite from Griff's OXP.
Off topic, but the last picture reminds me of it: it is a pity that FDEV renamed "Offender" and "Fugitive" into "Wanted" and (kinda) "Notoriety".

Why don't you complain to the car Manufactures. Note The info I posted about 2 years out of dates. But why not complain to the auto manufactures and leave our 34-year history of Snakes alone.

MY guess he scared of Snakes and snake names?
I'd concur that if it wasn't for the bad rap they got from the story of some body and an apple a few thousand years ago; Snakes would be a household pet. No need for fences that one has to paint every year which is suppose to keep out the neighbors dog or yours in, they always have gates that are left open so the neighbor dog still gets in and your still gets out. No more issues with rats and no more cats howling at all hours of the night. They love to cuddle on cool or cold nights. They don't bark and make other such loud noise which casues the neighbor to call the cops. I could go on, but enough is enough.
