Yeah, actually it does, just not in the way you may readily understand. But I can certainly see exactly what happened. You were wanted in the system, or you had another system bounty and an NPC was scripted in to come and collect it (it's rare, but it's a newish thing). An NPC bounty hunter was chasing you in Super Cruise. They messaged you whilst in super-cruise, then again when you dropped into the station instance. This is automatically within the NFZ, ~10 seconds later the AI completed the scan, and federal security recognised crime had occurred, and moved to intercept.
Once you were within range of the station, it's a foregone conclusion.
So yeah, you were being chased by a bounty hunter in SC, then dropped into the station, where at least the NPC bounty hunter got off a successful scan, never mind station security; 'crime detected' usually means the security forces are on to you (because they automatically share scanned data, as we do in a wing) and moved to engage. And then the station opened up.
There is a ton of spam denoting security was 100% on to you. I think, what's happened here, is you just didn't realise what was going on at the time, so it all seemed wrong. When in fact, it's mostly the game treating a criminal as it tends to do; by shooting at it a lot.
Frontier were kind to you, and simply reimbursed credits. The support team are good people.![]()
Cool, well you seem pretty level headed and you have been able to explain things fairly well and easily.. I still don't agree 100% with what went down and I think it's a bit stupid but there are more than one way to look at it I suppose.
The main thing is to learn and move on, that being said, I did know that I was better off heading straight for Lembava and handing in the Merits I had rather than making a stop off at Ladon. I just figured, they are a Li Yong Rui control system, I am with Li Yong so why would they attack me..
