It is true. My carrier is called Flimley. \o/Having just recently purchased a carrier, I do think it would be fun to see names of CMDRs who have landed there. With where my carrier has been parked of late, I don't expect it to happen often. But would be nice if I were to recognize a name I know. Pretty sure I saw @Flimley carrier recently, I think in the system where I mine platinum. I requested a high-speed fly-by but the tower declined.

Pfft, typical. Doesn't keep a wiping servant yet somehow it's our fault when things get messy. The loos are very much staff only though. You can thank those filthy Imperials for that, once bitten twice shy.
1. Carrier owner may had some private operation like donating cheap commodity to squadron (i.e. owner pays from own pocket) and don't want you to take it.I don't own a carrier but I bump into them on occasion while out exploring. A lot of them won't let me dock with them. What benefits would someone get from not allowing strangers from docking and refuelling?
Didn't know that, thought it was just a fixed price. Strange way to implement something though, have players buy some large ship with lots of landing pads and then penalize players for doing it so they don't use the carriers as the game intended.Carrier owner pays double-weekly fee (no matter that it is "low", it is still double) to allow your repairs. So I just disable all service for randoms. Not my problem to pay bills awaiting to help some random man.
That was proposition to make "urgent switch". So you can land, press button, pay remaining fee to activate services till the period ends and use it till period ends as anybody else, i.e. owner cannot turn it off if paid. That could be fair. If you need urgent help - pay.Didn't know that, thought it was just a fixed price. "Attempt no landings"
People have already posted many reasons an FC owner would deny docking, however a way to filter undockable FCs would be nice.I don't own a carrier but I bump into them on occasion while out exploring. I can open mine up if you want, but do you want to land on a carrier owned by someone with 11,000t of tritium aboard and poor impulse control?
