Will COVAS be paid content?

One of the most awaited things in the 3.0 update (for me at least) is the new male ship voice (COVAS) that we can equip on the livery screen. Now, the only thing I've missed so far is this: will we have to buy the new voice pack from the store, or will it be in the game automatically? I know additional voice packs will be paid content in the future, but what about "Victor"? Is this free or will we have to buy it separately?

I'm pretty sure Victor is free but future "voice packs" will be purchasable... and they won't include celebrity voice packs

I don't really care about celebrity voices (even though they would be cool) as long as we get decent "no name" ones. What I would really like to know is whether "Victor" will be free or not. Currently I don't have Frontier Points and I haven't planned to buy any, either. But I wouldn't like to miss out on this great feature. I hope a developer can jump in and confirm the status of this.

I'd love a Boba Fett voice pack "He's no use to me dead" or the Emperor "Good good, take your weapon, strike them down with it"

I would pay for that.

I would pay above-market rate for GLaDOS as the AI voice of my ship. Subtle condescension with hints of malevolence required, of course. I should wonder if I'm actually just a test subject being sent out into the galaxy to die in interesting ways.

Scotty from the original Star Trek would be rather humorous especially if combined with those classic scifi lines.

For example at max thrust in normal space and boosting "I'm giving all she got captain" or when you are down to 1% hull "Shes gonna blow captain"

so we totally need voice packs and the computer to have some sass [yesnod]
