You can always self-destruct the ship you're in, refuse rebuy, lose the ship, and respawn in a sidey at your original start point (obviously this is best done in a suicidewinder, and some people might park a stock sidey on a Carrier for just this purpose). Probably you could then book ship transfers to get the rest of your ships off.
That would leave the Carrier itself. If you loaded it with fuel tanks, and refuelling resources were sufficiently rare, you might be able to get stuck beyond the range of a Fuel Rat Carrier, but multiple Carriers could probably refuel each other to pull off a rather epic rescue (see Operation Black Buck, Falklands War).
