Will there be additional bug fix patches between update 5 and console release?

No, the mere presence of the "expired" issue status is indicative that Fdev expect and want us to just forget about issues. They've left things unfixed for many years, particularly including that issue tracker search function, and just occasionally piped up with "huh, didn't know that, will look into it". And the totally in your face bugs introduced with update 5 indicate they still aren't doing even cursory testing. I wish we could see a release candidate level update at some point. We may all have the same goal, but it's sure hard to make out a direction from these stumbles.

We often see issues "fixed" according to the patch notes that really aren't. It means we have to start all over to get back to acknowledged. And a CM did confirm the other day that resubmission is our only option when they've "expired" things.

indeed the lack of spawning of mission sites for salvage was and still is a problem, in fact, unless one wants to play a FPS game in combat zones, with the tedious having to shuttle back and forward, or is happy t just go around admiring the views and scanning some plants, there is little that is currently reliable to do. This is such a shame as it could have been almost wonderful... what we glimpsed during moments of Alpha testing was wonderful, sadly a lot has been dialled down, the lighting is still not fixed, broken game mechanics are everywhere and there is no feeling of great joy to it at the moment.
