Maybe you'll be able to walk to the stern of your ship and play Power Play as a virtual board game, with a virtual cup and dice etc. Now that would be really cool, especially if you could surreptitiously stow the game away in a locker and make your way back to the bridge.

It's a good list there. I also hope that, whatever it is, it adds such 'content' and core gameplay.

Agreed. So it could be another extension nobody asked for and nobody's waiting for.
But were Thargoids in the DDA/DDF?
Or maybe they integrated Drew into the game engine?

You know its gonna be 'Cup holders' nothing more agonising than getting in a fight then ya coffee goes flying into ya lap, its long overdue and we have been using that antique CD player that comes with every ship ;)

If it's something that is "not quite ready for the world just yet" then it ain't rear view cameras, paint jobs or anything like that, but for sure it's something big, something that's going to twist everyone's minds by proving something that is thought to be impossible, possible. We know Planetary Landings aren't so much of a secret, so...whatever it is, it isn't from the human race.

Alien pets and orbital space-fly fishing.
edit: but you'll need a fishing licence and lots of grinding for the proper diet for your alien pet.

if we should learn anything from FDEV it is this, it will make commercial sense and follow a long laid out plan.

so how about a paid for expansion (unless you got lifetime pass) hitting the shelves 2 weeks prior to christmas?

planetary landings including surface vehicles - that is my bet ^^

'Secret' eh, sounds almost a bit dodgy. I hope it's not pornographic. Now that would be immersion breaking. Although it would explain why you never see anyone around in space stations.

If it is secret then it is something we did not ask for and, like PP something I did not want. I would much rather they said, we have a huge announcement that is not secret but involves us doing what we planned to do in the beginning of this development process!

I don´t think it is wise pushing the expectations that high from Frontier´s side. I hope it is something "big" but I really wish it is something for all of us enjoying the game much more in the near future.

it needs to be big enough to drive the 2nd half of the financial year imo. so yes planetary landings. (or a full scale paid for thargoid invasion, but i doubt that)

as i said very much looking forward to it. something to come back to after summer holidays to chew some fat over ;)

Right well its not that, its probably hats for the powerplay leaders that you need 500billion tons of cloth (New commodity) to make and you can only carry 10tons per day.
