Very cool.
My record is still 6 from years ago with Fuso. That and two krakens are my only real achievement in this department.
7 kills is mad.
And in a squishy Kii of all ships.

That's kind of you, but such feats usually need exceptionally bad players in both teams (and there are loads of them around these days!). This is actually my 3rd 7 kill game after the Parth ( ! ) and Bismarck. Krakens, I have plenty, I think this was already the second with the Kii.
Slightly off topic, but: As I'm making my way back to the bubble in Elite, I realized that:
- The game is still stunning in VR, especially piloting a Corvette
- The FSS is really bad in retrospective, it is much more difficult to find interesting moons and locations
Somehow, those videos don't get posted much...
What is wanted is pure ability to wreck someone else's day. Anything that kills me is, by definition, OP.
The Swedish Chef's...errr...DD's are the current event.
Having tried 9.2 out, I'm finding that my USN CL's and DD's over T6 are getting mauled. It's not being able to do damage. It's seems that everybody else is able to delete me far easier than before.
I'm disappointed when the indicator shows less than six ships focusing on me.
Being a CL main has never been more painful. Not buying Boise or Atlanta, now.
With events dependent on having T5 or greater ships to participate, and some slightly wacky directives that require the Swedes, I'm starting to build up my T5 and below captains with the skills reset. Playing in co-op at lower tiers is resulting in fewer tears.
All hail the BB mains. It's their game, now.

But secondary build BBs are close second, now. And Smolensk, of course. You can actually kill them, now, but they are still really annoying.
It isn't that bad really. Bought the Shiratsuyu, and second match I sank 4 ships, all dev stricken.
At the moment I'm leveling the Pan-Asian (T5), German (T7) and IJN gunboat (T7) lines. Pretty much abandoned the frenchies, those fast baguettes are not my cup of tea. At least at T7 the Vauquelin is not that fast and nimble enough for a DD that doesn't have smoke.
Light cruisers, Perth and Huanghe are as good as ever. They were fragile before the update already, so not much difference there. Perhaps because despite dips, lately my WR rolls good with every class. The only line I'm not enjoying is the Italian cruisers. It is said from T8 they are really good, but the Trento a T6 is just a terrible ship. Actually just a little better than Hawkins.

Did something very silly. Played my Cleveland in randoms this morning, and got called out for charging too soon. A Super Ship deleted me.
My biggest mistake was playing a T8 ship at all. The MM jammed the sides with Jean Bart's, etc.
Looks like I've got a quarantine of another kind going. Setting the filter for T6, max.

Just bought two games on Steam sale, with cash earmarked for WOWS. Single player, turn based games.

Hahah, yeah. I was also shopping on Steam. I only had JWE and Planet Zoo, so far but I bought Borderlands 3 and maybe I'll buy more later.
I closed my shop for a month or two. (I have money for two months) I didn't have more than two days off in last 20 years. I guess I'm going to get crazy in a week or two. Maybe enough to reinstall WoWs.
I'm in home office, but there are no big deals yet so just distributing work in the team. When I can, next to three kids, I do play and MM is just horrible with a mix of weekend players and pros. I think this week I've seen some of the worst players in my WOWs career.
Imagine a T8 Graf Zeppelin with 350 battles played, he barely hit anything, did not harass the DDs and even managed to get sunk relatively early by bad situation awareness.
But the worst was a high tier German DD 'player'. He sailed at the bottom line of the map during the whole match, and right at the end when we somehow won, he released a full set of torps at a friendly BB. I mean, not even a bot is this bad.
Yesterday most matches I won I had to carry with 2k+ xp - a testament how bad players were in both teams. Will post a few result tables that are entertaining.
