x52 Pro setup issues

Hi everyone! So I just bought the x52Pro and allready have problems with it which I can't find solutions for online on my one, so maybe we can solve this together!

1. The software I got from the logitech support page is increadible laggy and unuseable for the first 5 minutes after starting it and I can assure you my PC is not the issue there.

So if you have any advice on either problem I will be very thankful for it :D

Is that everytime that you start it? If so, maybe create a profile incase it is looking to see what products you actually have. Just a guess since I don't have a Logitech stick.

I have a x56 and actually don't need the Software, but it runs in the background nevertheless.

Make sure you have very stable, powered USB connections as there are several issues if not. This could be causing the lag.

Maybe you played E: D with other setups, so bear with me if I repeat things you already know:

Start with a good profile and use the excellent EDRefCard https://edrefcard.info/ to get an overview. Tweak it in the in-game settings dialog.

I use DIView.exe, 2005 from Logitech, no longer on their website (google) to test, view and adjust all axes' ranges and centers. I still edit dead zones etc. later in the game settings. DIView.exe does not have to run while gaming and adjusts controller settings in Windows.

The DIView program sounds interessing but I only found it for some kind of pedal. And I didn't know that you could set things like deadzones ingame, after I find it, it will surely be helpfull :)

Deadzones you can find when expanding the + of an axis in the settings.
In DIView.exe right click an axis' panel to activate View Raw Data and later again (after some playing around) to open popup dialogs. I usually leave DeadZone... and Saturation... as they are, but adjust Min, Center and Max in Calibration....
