It works exactly the same as the Xbox 360 controller I had before (that broke).

I've actually for a long time thought that the 360 controller feels better for ED, despite the poor dpad, because the sticks are more stiff, making oversteering harder. I just like the firmer, less "loose" feel of the sticks. Although for some it might be the opposite and actually better in combat where fast manouvers are needed.
On the other hand for a game like HELLDIVERS the more loose sticks to help faster aim and the better dpad for the supply combos is far better.
