Hi,
Apologies if this is the wrong thread to add this to, but I am a new member, so no new threads allowed.
a bug did smite me down in Elite dangerous (XBox One edition).
Whilst in Timeshift drive, trying to get to a station, yesterday, when the system told me to slow down (I was already decreasing speed), I took the throttle all the way back, yet the ship would then suddenly accelerate. It happened a few times, but yesterday it was 5 times in a row, making the approach to the station take almost forever (an annoying 673 seconds).
In addition, some missions are a bit 'wonky'. The one I took yesterday involved taking Gallium (2 tonnes) to another place. I did not get the Gallium (there was no option to pick it up), so I apparently should have bought it. Then the destination (one jump away) did not have the exchange (it took a long while to figure out that it was part of some hub (the one system with more than 2 stations). It would be nice to
a. properly inform that we either must buy the gallium, or make collecting it part of the mission buttons (like accept and load cargo).
b. add the location of the station that had the exchange. (so navigation becomes a little less of a puzzle).
overall way too much 'effort' for a mere 10K. (especially as one pirate was nice enough to die by my pulse lasers and donate an awesome 179K, which put me over the top for a Cobra)
Optional, add one training mission to do a two jump navigation exercise (or add that to the initial travel training). This might just be the consequence of the XB1 having a few less expected controller choices than a PC/MAC with full HOTAS.
I upgraded to my Cobra MK3 since I started last Saturday, so I am not doing too bad.
p.s. the docking computer with the 2001 music (like the original was a nice surprise).
