You can now link your PSN account to EDSM.net to log your journeys!

Now if Inara would so this! This is awesome, thanks stormy for pointing this out! This is what I have been buzzing about! Christmas came a bit late, but worth it!

Does anyone know how to get this to work on iPods/iPhones? I was trying but I couldn't pull up the option for console updating.

The console updater doesn't update anything for me, even when in game playing :(. Could it be that my account is not configured properly or maybe even because I have same login name on PS4 than my PC steam account (I have the game on both but am playing only on PS4 now).

I'd like to start a proper exploration journey so I'm really interested to have this thing to work for my PS4 account.

I believe you can have only one account and would have to disconnect one. At least this is what it looks like, I've been wrong before... once...

While it doesn't update everything like the PC version, this is a great start and definitely the right direction. I am sure over time, things will get worked out, cleaned up and enabled. Thanks EDSM!

This was great! I just started running it. I will attend the DW2 expedition. Im on the "official" rooster list here with my ship and my name mecha_mike (and been so for a long time).
But Im not listed as a participant over at edsm.net ? What have i done wrong?

You have to register with EDSM, I missed out on this as well.

I was really pleased when this was announced last month and have managed to get it working for me. Now I just I set the updater running from my iPhone and plod on with the game. It's a bit of a shame that it doesn't upload all of your previous systems visited, total distance etc etc, but it's a great start. I've taken to writing a few logs to enhance my immersion in the game too. It couldn't have come at a better time just before DW2 either. :)

Problem with phonew or tablet, if you get a call, text or do sone thing else, the front end stops running.

I get many calls and texts so that's why I use my laptop.

fixed an annoying requirement to have to open firefox, go to click bookmark, click the login item and then click start...
created a web app for the kindle...

so now its click the icon and then click start button much better... should get me using it a lot more...

I found out that indeed it is the PC game that is tracked when the Frontier account is used for both PC and PS4 versions and I couldn't find a way to change this, even unlinking steam account.
I have created a new frontier account to use with the PS4 but then it is really a fresh new starting game with 1000 Cr and a basic Sidewinder :( instead of my previous game. But this account is properly updated in EDSM.net via the Console update.

I have contacted Frontier to check if they have a solution for me. Otherwise I'll probablt continue with the new game as I had only a few weeks of play (with 4 ships and 7 Millions credits)

I'm loving the mapping feature! Gives some real context of distance.

I assume that all the systems I go through with no information will only be updated to EDSM when i dock and sell my data? Odd though because i note that quite a few have already been discovered by others on the server.
