Your favorite in game and sci-fi ship?

In game : Clipper - underloved, underused, quite rare, gorgeous, insanely fast, insanely agile, multi-purpose.

Sci-fi : Serenity from Firefly.

Definitely the Python!

While I love, love, love flying around in huge ships - there's just something about the Python that makes it special. Mainly due to the fact that it lets you do so many different things, while still regaining a somewhat decent jump range and also being allowed to land on smaller outposts.

The Rokh

In-game: don't know yet, haven't tried them all :)

Out of game: another vote for good old Deep Space Vehicle Two, the Liberator from Blake's 7

The movie wasn't particularly good, but an interstellar FTL ship with quad rotating nuclear ion nacelles is pretty inspiring in my book. I also liked the interior of the ship in all the movie scenes a lot.

I subconsciously choose the Federal Corvette more often than not, with my Python as a good number 2 and Cutter number 3. The corvette definitely look the most badass of all my ships :D

Seeing the scope of the sci-fi ships you have presented so far, going all the way up to moving cities, I am shocked that A'tuin is not yet presented, so here goes!

I'm a classical kinda guy.
In game: Cobra MK3 there is no substitute for its clean sleek look. It's a classic. Literally.
Sci fi has to be the ol' 1701 refit. Original design was pure genius and slap some makeover on it and there you have the definitive starship.

Same here for sci-fi ship. The Enterprise refit in the first movie had one of if not the best model filmed sequences of a cruising starship plus an amazing work of art with its lighting. Then following that, maybe the Eagle from Space:1999 and X-Wing fighter. Other sci-fi ships that looked the most "elite" to me were the Nostromo and the Prometheus.

Favorite in game ship is the cutter. Mainly because the imp courier was my favorite in FFE. But ED's courier is more a fighter, and the clipper was hamstrung. Despite it's slower bulkiness and that it's probably more analagous to the imperial trader from FFE, the cutter feels the closest to the FFE imperial courier along with it's "safety" margin to me. 2nd to me is of course the CbrMkIII

Hate to say it, but the "J-Type 327 Nubian" from The Phantom Menace looked to me the most like an Elite universe imperial courier. No wonder it looked so jarringly out of place in a SW film, tho beautiful ship and what I'd imagine an imperial courier to look like in a movie.

In game and overall, it would have to be my combat AspX:

Scream Thy last Scream. It's rough around the edges admittedly (though been through a lot), but it will always get through (or occasionally out of) a fight, and has never let me down yet.
