A Cobra should be able to beat an ASP. I loved flying my Cobra - could take on anything but I did have a lot of trouble with both the nipper ships and the likes of Anacondas. Of course that was a while back, certainly before the latest update. I'm glad the AI has improved / got tougher it's forced me come out of my comfort zone / admit I wasn't a great pilot - it's just the before the AI was easy to mop up or in other words it was easy to farm. Now, the element of risk has significantly increased.

ive had a vulture sense 1.2 both on pc and xbox so ive got a year or so experience with the ship
NOT ONCE not a SINGLE TIME AT ALL
in all my YEAR plus of experience have I had an ai get away from my vulture unless he high waked away from me before I killed him
an ai uses whats known as flight assist off now it lets your ship do all sorts of crazy manovers(like vipers in battlestar galactica how they can flip 160 degrees kill the cylon behind em while still goin 'foreward')
yes theres some bugs,with a game this large of scale its bound to happen.
im normally a nice person but all you've done is disrespect everybody here

Pretty sure your expertise in English is lacking. The post is about an ASP you . The only people I disrespect are the designers and jerks like yourself. However, Ive complimented the humorous people who have posted some hilarious gifs, memes, and pics.

t, dude, lay off the swearing. You can see it gets filtered, so why bother? Try and discuss things normally and nicely (you can always google that one) and we'll do the same. And seriously, trashing the language? Yours has not been impeccable and we have many forum members for whom English is not their first language. Those are LOW, LOW blows. Back to the filter though. I like that it allows 'jerk', and I know it also allows 'jack' and 'ass', all of which are useful right now.
Well for one, the vulture is a combat vessel. The Asp isn't. End of discussion. Hell the area that the Asp is weakest in is in combat. 6 hardpoints mean nothing when you're slow and fat.
Back to the vulture though, that ship does all the fighting for you, it doesn't build flying skills at all. You could have a monkey with cerebral palsy and tourette's holding an Xbox controller that's controlling a vulture and still get kills no problem. Doesn't mean you're good at flying.
