Your last enjoyable Elite activity?

A few years ago there was this massive pvp, BGS war that happened on xbox. One of our guys from DRTY Co went to CLB's system and just started killing every player he could find. They retaliated by hitting our BGS to take us out of power in DRTY's home system. We called in our allies, they called in their allies and for a week straight there were multiple, full instances of 16 players battling it out with all kinds of different ships.
Nothing I've done in this game since then has come anywhere close to being as fun and enjoyable.

Arrived at Sag A last night. It's my first, and only visit. Found it to be a bit underwhelming to be honest.

Still, I scouted a few nearby systems and found this peach of a location;

I don't have to meet my opponents to derive satisfaction from beating them (or losing a closely contested conflict) but I do think contesting the BGS in Open is the game at it's best. It encompasses all the elements of the game in a competitive way that allows a player's strengths to shine against different players with different strengths (and weaknesses).

Gearing ships, experimental builds, and pushing the minimum limit on what I can be successful with in the installation scenarios and wing assassination missions run solo.
