Your least enjoyable Elite activity?

Im not sure id be willing to believe little kids play this. I assume thats what you mean by munchkins? With the learning curve this game has, little kids? Lmao i probably wouldnt be brave enough to even admit this to even myself. Respect
Not to put words in anyone's mouth, but in the US the term Munchkin is slang for a D and D player that just wants to kill everything in site, including other players.
I don't know if that is what the poster meant, but thats what I thought when I read it.

Im from the US and im pushing forty and ive never in my life heard munchkin used for any other than little kids and Wizard of Oz. Perhaps its much more of a local term than you think.im not a D&Der but ive been friends with many over the years (mostly the 90s) i guess this is what i learned today.🙄 so a murderhobo then or more of a ganker?

the engineering process.

the back and forth of finding RNG materials, jumping long distances and all that. It's just an extremely time-consuming process.

The term Munchkin is so well known that there's a popular card game based on it. The game makes light of RPG stereotypes, and your goal is to accumulate as much power as possible as quickly as possible, either via your piles of overpowered gear, or by foiling other players attempts at fighting monsters.

It's a pretty good game.

Engineering (too tedious), combat (NPC ships are equiped with some insanely-powered weaponry), and Federation/Empire rank grind

Easy. PVE combat.
It used to be my favorite but ever since the devs decided to nerf the rewards into oblivion for no apparent reason, there's literally nothing I get out of it anymore.
I had a whole group of friends that I used to do combat missions with all the time but all of them quit playing after wing assassination got nerfed.

Farming engineering materials.

Spending countless hours crisscrossing an anarchy system trying to find the right signals hoping that RNG will give you what you need is mind-numbingly tedious. Especially when 90% of the time the signals that you need are 10k+LS away from where you are. So you spend minutes just getting there only to find out it didn't give you what you needed and then you do it again. It's horrible.

I suppose now my least favorite thing in game is when ive been working bgs for weeks to get the mf up and suddenly it goes in to infrastructure failure a few days before we would go to war with controlling faction and drops the mf inf back down to 9%. Seems like its happened a few times in the last few months. My teeth are now all thoroughly grinded from this

Sony keep sending me this, don’t think they understand the Commander edition of ELITE includes Horizons. I’m not foolish enough to click the link and buy again...
