Anyone care to do rundown on the most interesting bits?

Basically: they described how it currently works and talked about how to make it more dynamic: increase profits in low-sec systems, have the system states influence prices more making other commodities a more profitable option. Ultimately a long-distance goal might be, as Laurence briefly described, to have the system evolve based on what happens, so players could take a puny system and see it grow. :)

Those are solid plans. I hope we will see it happen sooooon.

He also mentioned the balancing act that is the thin line between healthy dynamism and utter, impenetrable chaos. They're trying to improve usability while simultaneously making the universe less static.

Well... I know this is not related to trading, but I have to ask: Is support for the Mac going to continue? I know you're having trouble with the outdated graphics drivers, but I would like to know what, if any, decisions you have made.

Intra-system trading; making interesting trades possible between different markets inside the same system - how come we forgot to ask Lawrence about this? Ed, any chance of asking him for a late comment on his thoughts on intra-system trading? It would be a very 'micro' way to play the game, but all the right dynamic elements: different markets, commodities and factions - are in place to permit a 'HardWar' style of local play.

Learn something new every day - mouse swipe does all the clicks on the buttons ... how many times have I clicked each one in turn

I only learned that from watching the exploration stream last week! Good to learn something new.

I learnt this from the livestreams too. Its one of those little things that even veterans such as us may have missed.

Also good stuff Ed, you know 2/3 interdictions avoided ain't bad... I think Meatloaf said that...

There was some concept art a long long time ago which showed much grater details of commodities including (I beleive) market trends against the galactic average and also a nice pitcure of the goods in question. My question is there something like this still in the pipeline or has this been scraped all together. It would be lovely to have something more real looking to trade rather than some soleless numbers which is what the current trading feels like to me. ALthough this wouldn't necessarily change any of the game mechanics so could be considered low priority I personally feel it would add a lot more realism to the inhabitted bubbles gameplay and immersion.

Markets aren't real , the movement of craft , makes little sense in the movement of goods , just don't see all those ships moving.

Can someone with more free time than the rest please summarize the livestream and write down key points of interest here? Like upcoming new feature spoilers, etc.
