Zoo gets flooded by bugged protestors

Have you tried deleting the problematic habitat and its animals? That way maybe they wont be going to that habitat with a bugged animal.

@Chante Goodman No, it isnt. Its my first franchise zoo from launch day.
I am not quite sure when the first protestors arrived, could have been during the first week already, though. But at least they appeared on the second week. While the Gorilla challenge run it suddenly got worse. Meaning a few groups turned into these big crowds. I still tried to put up with them, but the first the day the bear challenge started I gave up with it kinda and turned over to another zoo. They just got more after all and I could hardly make anymore money there as they were turning the guests unhappy. (yeah, thats how addicted I am, I cant remember the dates but which challenges run:ROFLMAO:)

And I also did delte all old beta files before I created my new franchise.

@Dr4gon Oh, I know that already:giggle: But we are not talking about guests here^^ I wish protestors would pay you anything, then this zoo would have a few billions already;)

@sonicmyst Yup, trying to delte the habitat while they are still in the zoo makes the game crash immediately. Closing the zoo and deleting the habitat is possible, but as soon as I open again the protestors storm back in and a few seconds later the game crashes and cant be loaded anymore. Tried that twice, the only way to get the zoo back is with an older file where the habitat is still untouched.

@Chante Goodman Hmm, weird I did send it over yesterday- did it land as spam or something?

But I will send it again!

So its out now again, I hope it reaches you all this time! (and I hope its the right file aswell, but I think it should be) I also used my other e-mail for this and changed it in my account settings aswell - maybe this will help you to find it?^^

I have received it! We may have already passed it along, but I couldn't find your name in any email, so I wasn't sure if it's you! The team is looking into it now!

@Chante Goodman Thanks! I hope the team will figure it out, so that the zoo might get saved - and it wont happen to anyone else^^

Oh and a related question. Are the protesters using staff paths a bug or a feature? I just wonder becuase they pretty much do it in all of my zoos, usually to reach the habitas and also to leave the zoo again. I always assumed it was intended, but some say its a bug, so what is it?

I think its intended. Cause I remember in the beta I had "holding pens" for baby lizards in the back of my zoo that would get protested all the time. It is strange that they know about the badly treated animals even if they can't see them. There was 10ft high walls around them. But at least the other guests couldn't see the protesters.

Protesters on staff paths is not intended. It's a bug that got introduced with 1.0.3.

I feel bad that I am laughing at those screenshots so much. It would be so much better if the protestor's signs could be changed to torches and pitchforks xD

Its like the battle of Helm's deep in your Zoo over some Macaques.

Tbh, this is one of the most awesome looking issues/bugs..
But if this would happen with my biggest zoos, i'd be annoyed as well.

A bit curious, if you would close the doors of your zoo - would they disappear ??

I would gladly take that zoo over to take the challenge of chasing them off. I am afraid that it's deep in debt though.

@Imagin Oh, are you sure? They did this in my beta zoos aswell as in all my zoos since launch day, so I was really positive it was normal. (not talking about the normal guests, of course) Though if its a bug thats probaly better:LOL:

@NL_Mutso Yeah, thats the only way to get rid of them - just not a good way, as the zoo would get broke after some time. As soon as I open the doors again they storm back, though.

@Dr4gon Ha, if I could I would totally let you try(y) I already tried everything I could and they are getting more rather than less, as it seems. So far the zoo still has over 5 million $. Its not doing well anymore, though.
