Kind of because I have never seen them in the open enclosures. They would be much better for walkthrough exibits.Victoria's crowned pigeon is a good option for that 7th spot.

Their behaviour is not far from a peafowl. They don't fly often.Kind of because I have never seen them in the open enclosures. They would be much better for walkthrough exibits.
Acktually Madagascar has no penguinsAnd penguins. I've heard of 2 species:

Killer penguins

Madagascan penguins
Hawaiian Goose or Rhinoceros Iguana (as a habitat species) are the best choices from around America IMO.Seems like mostly the must haves for islands are the Tasmanian Devil, Fossa, a Kiwi and a Tree Kangaroo. That’s even my habitat picks for a scenery pack, but it would be nice to get something from the Americas as well. The entire Caribbean or Galapagos species. I think the big hurdle there is finding a species that is on those islands and doesn’t have a huge presence elsewhere: or at least associated with the islands.
For me, that’s why i have to include the Fossa. Even though its from the African continent, it keeps the pack from being completely a Oceania-centered pack.
Looking at your must haves, thats leave you with:Seems like mostly the must haves for islands are the Tasmanian Devil, Fossa, a Kiwi and a Tree Kangaroo. Clearly you haven't seen the highly scientific movie Madagascar, which features Madagascan penguins.
Exactly we need to spread some culture into this forumClearly you haven't seen the highly scientific movie Madagascar, which features Madagascan penguins.
Neither have you played the historically accurate Zoo Tycoon 2 Extinct Animals expansion pack, which had the mysterious killer penguin, able to kill even a Tyrannosaurus![]()
Never really thought about how cool of a pick Cuban crocs would be for an Islands Pack/Animal Pack before:
- cuban crocodile
Cuban crocodiles would be awesome, possibly my favourite crocodilian species together with the orinoco, it´s skin it´s precious!!Looking at your must haves, thats leave you with:
- cuban crocodile
- american flamingo
- channel island fox
- vancouver marmot
I wish i could see anything special in this picture and not ask myself if this is an nile, salty, spectacle caiman or any other crocodilianCuban crocodiles would be awesome, possibly my favourite crocodilian species together with the orinoco, it´s skin it´s precious!!View attachment 339508
Probably the easiest to recognize is the spectacled caiman, you can see a small stripe pattern in its down jaw, and up the eyes are like small spikes, or spectacles, also the size plays an important role. But with the other 2 i understand u, they are too similar for my eyesYou see what i mean right? Not saying its bad but oof im having a hard time differentiating crocodiles

Like Chiquita:Would almost certainly be differentiated from all crocodilians currently in the game with a new galloping animation when running (I'd also hope for this in the unlikely scenario we ever get the freshwater crocodile). It's one of their most well known characteristics, adding them without it would be bizarre
Nile crocodiles and saltwater crocodiles are near identical (the best way to distinguish them is by looking at the scales on the back of the neck), hence why the nile isn't really among my wanted crocodilian species (West African slender-snouted crocodile FTW). Cuban crocodiles however are distinct looking to me thanks to their significantly smaller size, brighter colours, slightly different head shape and more thickset legs, and they're also quite different behaviourally given they're more terrestrial and social. You see what i mean right? Not saying its bad but oof im having a hard time differentiating crocodiles

Here are the rules:Caimans being hard to distinguish from crocodiles seems a bit of a stretch to me though, they're not even part of the same family and have a very differently shaped head and patterning. But maybe I just have more experience with identifying crocodilians than most people.
