The blue marker is where I am right now in the scheme of things. Bookmarks are where I've been so far - mostly in the Asp X but some of it in the Dolphin. Also a few places I visited back in 2015 (mostly in or not far from the bubble,) were in my Cobra MkIII. The systems bookmarked often have the name Stu Pidgit on them in some way, ie first discoveries or first maps etc.

Mr and Mrs Expanse have a daughter called Norma and "X" marks the area where she is. As I mentioned earlier, I've not been there yet though.

Haven't had that happen, yet...

Usually, it would come down somewhere about 1km away from me, if possible on top of a steep cliff or on the other side of a deep, wide canyon with steep walls. If this doesn't happen, it will land on the only spot in the area that has a small mound about as big as the SRV bay...
Or right in between some fumaroles in a way that prevents me from accessing the ship.

I think the hacker is a little bit closer... Some unhinged human. Maybe a programmer from ISS that got fired.

I think that would be Interstellar Software Solutions. They do all the ship and station systems, as far as I know.

hypou broae wg j d 10-17 at rykers hope almost got fc were want it parked ,enuff fuel on board if feel like it now,but like my madness ,i watch footy games as i mine tritium,then do exploration in wat evercraft,i already know next jump hypou broae ja c d14 26.. been 27 weeks since been away for the bubble lol,i found 1 system lol 2 earth worlds,woo hoo lol.if way out in the dark ,my fc craft got exploration on it other stuff,help me mine lol

Got some of those gimballed enhanced AX multi cannons on my Krait MKII today. 3 large and one medium. Rapidly pops scouts, exerts Cyclops heart with ease and destroys them quite quickly too if I can stay of target with trailing gun sights. If I can reliably get xeno scans this really would be the best all round AX weapon I've used for at least the lower tiers of interceptor. Sub-targeting the hearts would make it all easier still.

Yeah, while it's really fun and very rewarding to scan exobiology... it's perhaps a bit too rewarding. Rewards that are way out of proportion kind of remove challenge from the game. I don't really like everything handed to me, and prefer the moderate challenge. Remove the challenge, remove the fun.

Of course it is a bit laborious to scan those plants and bacteria (especially when they camouflage into the background), but it's not that challenging.

To be honest, I would prefer if the rewards were slightly less. I don't know, maybe one third of what they are now, or something. Would still be rewarding, but not as game-breaking.

If they nerf it in a future update, it would make sense in-universe: The biology research company that's currently handing out credits like they were candy is not as profitable anymore, so they have to cut down on the payments.

To be fair, I think the monetary reward is fine for the amount of time you need to spend - driving 800k between tubus and not finding osseus can take a chunk of it out of your life :D

Dss upgrade to G5, or thou after i found one in the techno shop V1 DSs scanner. Could of email me that.
DBS is now smooth scanning, on dss less probes to use. Should of done that earlier in game to save me soul. Has i was getting a little fed up with 21 probes for a gas planet scan.

Vents gas and water , should be ok a pay rate. lava should be a higher pay because there more deadly than the plant life:)

I jumped into a golram orbiting ball of five closely packed stars, buy the time I switched over to my heatsinks, my dashboard was smoking and popping sparks. I had to fire up the ole AFMU, the Guardian FSD booster went down to 70% along with the canopy and cargo hatch was below 50%, dang it, hate it when that happens.

I recommend binding a key to deploying a heatsink (when you do that, it will deploy it immediately, without having to do anything else). Even if you are playing with a controller only, without a keyboard or anything, I still recommend sacrificing one of the binds to heatsink deployment.

Many, many... many... many pirates and Thargoid Scouts died to bring me this promotion o_O

Next rank target is to get the Exobiology rank counter moving again and get to Elite III in exploration which won't take that much since I'm already 90% Elite II. I need to decide if I'm going to visit Colonia and then strike out to the far western edge of the galaxy, or visit the far south of the galaxy. I've already done north and Salome's Reach. The Fleet Carrier will stay in the bubble for this.

I second this recommendation which has the advantage of not needing to add the heatsinks into any fire groups or attach them to a trigger even though the nag system will want you to do that if you change the heatsink launcher in outfitting.

Much respect for your very scary combat rank. I'm still only an Expert (although my progress bar is gradually getting closer to Master as I write, lately from completing quite a few high on-foot CZs, which is handy as it also gets your Mercenary rank up and mine is now Soldier on that.)

I still haven't got around to tackling any Thargoid scouts, but I do have a recently acquired Krait MkII which I bought for that purpose (but still haven't upgraded or fitted any AX stuff on it.) As I'm currently out in the middle of nowhere hunting for plants though, it looks like those pesky Cabbage Cowboys will have to wait a while longer yet for me to turn up on their doorstep. :geek:

This is the first one of these I've had a first discovery and first map on for a while, and the first one I've found in the Outer Orion Spur.

This system also has 21 bios on various planets orbiting another star, so if I can find all that lot, what with the Earth-like World as well it should be worth a bob or two I guess.
