Yes it would do. The key thing to note aswell is that more players seem to be only attracted to dlc packs on sales which is what the price sensitivity suggests. It's really only a portion of us that actually buy on releaseFrom the trade paper, "However, sales performance during key price promotions in December 2022 fell below expectations, with some evidence of increased player price sensitivity".
While the report then states Planet Zoo was one of the most successful performances of 2022, does that former statement imply the Grasslands Pack underperformed?
Hmm, while that is true, hasn’t the launch trailer got like 220k views on Youtube? That’s SO much higher than most other dlc trailers. Most likely so. We have been talking about this several times and I know it isnt the only performance indicator, but look at the Grasslands DLC Steam reviews, it has like 33 of them. That is quite low as it has been out for almost a month now.
I believe we should be looking at steams top sellers to see how popular certain packs areHmm, while that is true, hasn’t the launch trailer got like 220k views on Youtube? That’s SO much higher than most other dlc trailers.
a pack of just dikdik and klipspringer would be enough for meA wishful thinking Ungulate Expansion:
20 ungulates, because hardly any new behavior and movement is needed to animate. Some of the following species are extremely similar to existing species in game, so would really require very little work to add in. Why ungulates? Because zoos have a ton of ungulates. Meanwhile, there are comparatively few ungulates in PZ compared to all the carnivores. After this pack I think we'd be set for our ungulates.
And there it is.
- Onager (first in game donkey)
- Grévy's zebra (second distinct zebra species)
- Black rhinoceros (completing the rhino triad)
- Collared peccary (representing peccaries)
- Red river hog (charismatic African pig)
- Eurasian wild hog (staple of Eurasian forests)
- Siberian musk deer (representing musk deer, which aren't actually deer)
- Wisent (largest European land animal)
- Giant eland (largest African antelope)
- Greater kudu (because people have been wanting a kudu for a long time)
- Nilgai (largest Asian antelope, sole representative of genus Boselaphus)
- Blackbuck (iconic Asian antelope)
- Dikdik (tiny antelope)
- Saiga (critically endangered Asian antelope with a trunk)
- Bontebok (representing tsessebes, hartebeests and related)
- Wapiti (NA old world deer)
- Pudu (represents new world deer, smallest deer)
- Takin (popular giant goat from the Himalaya)
- Muskox (very popular giant goat-antelope)
- Chiru (sole representative of genus Panthalops, looks like an antelope but is actually a goat-type animal)
Mostly super easy animals like another zebra, the wisent, wapiti, the pigs, the donkey, and most of the antelope. And a few animals that require a bit more effort, like the takin and muskox, giant eland, pudu, and dikdik.
If we get the onager and not the Somali wild donkey, I riot.A wishful thinking Ungulate Expansion:

What is H2?December packs like Grasslands and Malta Expansion count as H2 2023 releases.
Second half a year. The use of Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4 is more commonly known though. H1 covers the first two annual quarters while H2 covers the last twoWhat is H2?
Same here! Ba-Donkey-donk rebelion! If we get the onager and not the Somali wild donkey, I riot.
Not necessarily- increased price sensitivity could be industry or economy-wide rather than being a specific customer response to one DLC.From the trade paper, "However, sales performance during key price promotions in December 2022 fell below expectations, with some evidence of increased player price sensitivity".

Agreed.I'm sorry for double posts, but I feel like this warrants a message of it's own. If a possible Island's Pack trailer music doesn't include steel drums, I will be very upset.![]()
In this economy and trying to match Motorsports manager's success, an annual game was laughable when I read that article. The game itself isn't as bad as some put it but the cost is way too high for that market of games. As long as an annual game doesn't doom other dev teams, yeah why not![]()

I dont know if it was a good idea doing an annual game.
