What if this year we do not get biome or continent based packs? In the beggining of 2022 we tought on a South American Animal pack or tropics animal pack, and we ended with wetlands, conservation, crepuscular and grasslands. Before the Wetlands pack, noneone expected that, and it's normal, for 2 years we recieved continental dlcs, but 2022 changed that.
So, if i need to qualify every year of planet zoo i would qualify it as this:
2019: The open to a new and wonderful game.
-Arctic Pack: The first dlc.
2020: A new year of fresh content
-South America Pack: The Surprise of April.
-Australia Pack: A very loved pack.
-Aquatic: The best surprise in the game life.
2021: The "predictable dlcs" era.
-Southest Asia Animal Pack: Loved by ones, hated by others, but it was the first animal pack.
-Africa Pack: The most leaked pack.
-North America Animal Pack: Perfect animal selection, also everyone were happy about the sea lion introduction.
-Europe pack: Animal quality highs up, but scenery is not good at all. Good way to finish the year.
2022: The year of surprises.
-Wetlands Animal Pack: The most controversial dlc and the biggest surprise in Planet zoo lifecycle (for now).
-Conservation Pack: Unexpected and loved
-Twilight Pack: Opened the world of walktrought exhibits, everyone expects a bird dlc next
-Grasslands Animal Pack: Loved by so much people and unexpected, good way of closing 2022
So, now what we can expect? Another year of surprises? What if tthis year is the "fans favourite" year of dlcs and updates? Probably yes, probably not, we will see it probably on March or April.
