As has been said the Vulture is known for several things, just fitting on a small pad, needing more care planning for power requirements than is sensible and losing its canopy at the drop of a shield.Okay.
The PP was planned to be overcharged and monstered, but I haven't had the chance to get to Felicity, yet. The armored was what I had in my blueprints and it gave me at least some juice to get going... (Don't ask why the armored was in the BPs, though. Your guess is as good as mine, there...)
According to Coriolis, this with changing to a Bi-weave and dropping the point defense should do the trick to get this ship running smoothly without any annoying warnings.
Planned Vulture Build
All I have to do is find a Bi-weave shield, now... Well, INARA can at least give me an idea where to look. All it needs then is some luck.
Until I clicked on them I was going to ask why there was a Constitution class starship to the bottom left of your images.
I always forget that you can search there, too...EDDB.
Now I will be unable to unsee that. Thanks.Until I clicked on them I was going to ask why there was a Constitution class starship to the bottom left of your images.
The jumping pic (#4) is awesomely awesome.Next round didn't go so well - wasn't looking out properly and ended up near pinned downed by scavengers in the power centre... a firefight from the Apex's roof ensued - but then the taxi took off...

You could go thermal spread instead of monstered on the power plant, still have enough power and reduce the risk of overheating.Okay.

That's what I do on nearly all my combat builds because I lay on the beam lasers non-stop. I put thermal vent on the lasers as well. You could go thermal spread
You mean geezers.Cool looking place though, with the mountains and geysers.
I gotta tell my Vulture story, which some of you might have heard. I was fresh out of the sandbox and was doing delivery and currier jobs to earn enough to by one, as soon as I got it I took it to Farseer to get the FSD boost and took off to Colonia. I managed to get Elite III along the way, this was before the fleet carrier CG, just planetary bases each one in a nebulae.I bought my first Vulture in the old days, before Engineering was a thing. Power was limited, as you say.
Being from the US, I pronounce "geysers" as "guy zerz", but from what I understand those across the pond pronounce it "geezerz".You mean geezers.

In any case, I'm certainly approaching geezer status. Actually I think I passed it a while back.
