Being from the US, I pronounce "geysers" as "guy zerz", but from what I understand those across the pond pronounce it "geezerz".You mean geezers.
In any case, I'm certainly approaching geezer status. Actually I think I passed it a while back.

I think pretty much everybody here has one foot on geezer and the other on a banana peel.In any case, I'm certainly approaching geezer status. Actually I think I passed it a while back.
I just say 'boy'. None of this 'booey' nonsense.Go on, pronounce buoy - I dare you.
Well I don’t pronounce it like the knife.Go on, pronounce buoy - I dare you.
Ooh, I forgot about that. It only ever happened to me once, losing my canopy. I was surprised by the entire event, and how the HUD was broken up too.my canopy vanished
I just realized that I dodged quite a few bullets by taking my time under the wings of the Pilots Federation...Anyway, I was unaware or confused by the numbering schemes and ended up with a 1A fuel scoop thinking that would do the trick, it worked but super slow. It would only go up to 43 whatever per second where my current one, a 7A, does 1048 per second (sitting at 750 during scooping makes it continuous without over heating). It took for ever to refuel.
The 28 and 11 are the values for the item directly above Concha in the Codex, look at the entries for Fumerola and Clypeus too see what’s happened. Now I've managed to get Observatory working with some new (to me) plugins, I'm seeing how they pan out. So far, I've only got the "Evaluator" bit giving info but that's because, for the Codex plugin, well, I'm not anywhere where a new Codex entry is likely. At the moment
What's not clear to me is how the Evaluator get's its values - it gives a current and potential amount but neither appear to be the actual amout awarded by Carto. I'm not sure what affects these values.
The reason I was having issues before was because I was using an old version or the Core program. A swift uninstall, redownload from GitHub (no, I still don't like GitHub - for the non-techy it's a little messy IMHO) and reinstall saw me right.
EDIT
Also, a Codex question.
Am I reading this right? In the example below where I've highlighted "concha" - it shows an exclamation mark with 19, and a tick with 10 in the blue part. Does that mean I've found 10 out of 19?. But then, on the top row of numbers i.e. where it says ! 28, tick 11)... what do they represent?
D'oh! Of course - thanks! The 28 and 11 are the values for the item directly above Concha in the Codex, look at the entries for Fumerola and Clypeus too see what’s happened.
I checked in game. I don't know about Oddyssey, but in Legacy, there is a legend for the different signs on top of the page. Now I've managed to get Observatory working with some new (to me) plugins, I'm seeing how they pan out. Thank you - after all this time i’d still not known about those for sure, googled, googled more, even watched an old OA video… apparently the “rumoured” bit hasn’t been used much?I checked in game. I don't know about Oddyssey, but in Legacy, there is a legend for the different signs on top of the page.
The circle with the dots inside mean that the existance of that specific entry is rumored,
the circle with the "!" in it means that they are reported and
the tick means that it is confirmed.
A click on the picture should open the according entry.
Possibly not been used at all yet.Thank you - after all this time i’d still not known about those for sure, googled, googled more, even watched an old OA video… apparently the “rumoured” bit hasn’t been used much?

There used to be a simple list that was gathered over time. But when they changed the way the values worked, he had to go back and basically start over from scratch. I'm sure that's going to be what most updates in the near future will be - narrowing down the pricing based on actual experience. What's not clear to me is how the Evaluator get's its values -
No. You have 10 verified, 19 reported but not yet verified.Am I reading this right? In the example below where I've highlighted "concha" - it shows an exclamation mark with 19, and a tick with 10 in the blue part. Does that mean I've found 10 out of 19?.
I updated mine a few days ago as well, and Bioinsights started showing me a blue diamond on stuff I have not yet seen, which is cool. It flagged a planet as I scanned, telling me that the planet might host a biological that was not yet in my Codex. And it was right, I had never encountered that bio before. Nice job, MattGNow I've managed to get Observatory working with some new (to me) plugins
It was supposed to be filled in by Frontier, at least that's what they said about it when the Codex first came out. It would contain rumors to entice folks to explore there. But they never finished it, so it's just a blank field that does nothing. I have no idea what they'd put in there, if they did put something.apparently the “rumoured” bit hasn’t been used much?
