Spring dlc Speculation 2023

I genuinely cannot imagine a rainforest pack without a sloth. Also, the sloth would most likely be the headliner animal for the pack, but so far they almost always chose the headliner as the one to be revealed during the stream ‐ then again, it's entirely possible that with the expectation of everyone going bananas when the hint points towards sloths, they decided to go for the Fossa instead in the stream.

Fossa+Sloth+Red River Hog+SEA animal would make one hell of a lineup. Then again, maybe they would focus on fewer regions of the world and not include an Asian animal (or only via the exhibit animal). Maybe Sloth, RRH, Fossa and New World Primate? Either way, I am extremely excited!

I am just the opinion that a DLC never will be perfect for the majority of players as we all have different wishes. Frontier cannot make Happy everyone at the Same time. So we should just relax and be happy even if there are only 1-2 species within your Personal high demand list.

I have nothing against a small animal Pack. Perhaps the highest Chance for my beloved Kirk Dik Dik to come to the Game one day (even when I still have some hopes that they could also make it into a Drylands Pack)

I’m just imagining a sort of ‘Jungle Explorers’ themed pack. A little bit along the lines of Jumanji/Indianna Jones/Jungle Cruise theming. The Balinese temple peices we saw in the game, plus some general Amazon riverside piers and the like as well as some marketplace scenery could make for a great generic ‘jungle adventure’ scenery pack, with animals like the Fossa, RRH, Sloth, a Monkey and either a bird or some kind of snake for the exhibit (maybe even both) being likely and fitting candidates for a lineup.
I know that a lot of people don’t like this ‘heavily themed’ scenery idea, but if we get the Balinese temple pieces, as well as pieces needed to CREATE a jungle adventure, the possibilities would be endless!
Edit: a King Cobra would fit PERFECTLY into a pack like this as an exhibit box animal.

I think this would be a cool theme and is in my opinion Not so overthemed as perhaps the Twilight Scenery. I can personally imagine IRL Zoos making Scenery Like this.

I would actually love this, and if so then a monkey has to be part of the roster.

I wish. The final noise they make does sound more monkeyish but not in general.

Is a very weird noise tbh.

Also, second noise sounds like a growl than a pig to me.

Very very similar.
Also the second sound seemed to scare Tim so I think it might be a predator, maybe Tomistoma. He said „I don’t wanna stop for that one”.
